As Alvin continued to reveal everything about his nightmare, Elara's first reaction was that of disbelief and doubt. But as he continued to describe his nightmare, she realized that he was not shifting his blame or making excuses for his reaction.
"This is no longer something we can brush off." Elara was alarmed by the dream; she could not bring herself to take it lightly. "That was no longer a natural dream but a man-induced nightmare. Someone wanted to harm you, but from the looks of it, that energy saved you."
Alvin could feel that her tone had audibly softened, but even then she was still a little angry and disappointed at his loss of control over his hunger.
