The crackling fire casted jagged shadows across the space.
BARBEQUE!
It smelled so good. The hues from the fire danced in the faces of the hungry youths.
Many who had missed super, couldn't help wetting their lips in anticipation. Even those who ate super, felt their tummies gurgle.
However, despite the heat emitting from the barbecued chicken-rhino creature, a chill still lingered in the air, a reminder of their rebellious situation.
It was past 11 PM, and they were supposed to be asleep.
Oh well…So long as they didn't trigger any alarms, who is to say they weren't in their beds right now?
Even if Clara came over, she would act as though they were invisible.
Why? Because they haven't given themselves off.
They grouped in another corner of the enormous entryway space, positioning themselves before the fireplace that looked like it could hold a witch's cauldron.
