Chapter 98 - For what reason?

Elena informed them about the situation and the interactions among the building residents. She told them that the government mandated the supermarkets to remain open 24 hours.

Unfortunately, the supermarket posted a closure notice on its page, stating that despite the government's mandate to remain open, they would close as soon as water entered the store.

The management was concerned about the risk of flooding and the possibility of being stranded in the area.

Conflicts erupted as people understood that once the supermarket closed, they would have to travel farther to buy food supplies, prompting fights over essential items.

The supermarket faced a dilemma; despite having extra stock stored elsewhere, the rising floodwaters made it impossible to access those supplies.

Thankfully, the guard on duty intervened, halting the conflict. The crowd quickly backed down, aware of the law and the potential consequences of being banned.
