For unknown reasons, the lobby was unusually crowded today. A group of people sat in a corner, watching Grandma Ford argue with an old woman who was demanding compensation.
Elena felt confused. Having just arrived a short while ago, she wondered what this compensation the old woman was talking about.
Determined to understand the situation before commenting, she approached the guard and asked what had happened. With a friendly demeanor, he explained the circumstances to her.
"The building manager is conducting a meeting regarding the robbery incidents from a few days ago. He wants to know how many people live in each unit for security purposes."
"Then why are they arguing?" Elena asked, looking at Grandma Ford and the old woman.
"Oh, that's unrelated to this meeting. Do you see that old woman? Her unit is near that of the young man renovating the upper floor. What's his name again..." the guard explained.
"Oslo."
