God Luminous's POV-
"Haa... What a nice day for a late morning walk." I said, after taking a deep breath in the cold refreshing wind. Particularly to nobody.
Today was a windy day with a few clouds up in the sky. Causing the sunlight to be just the right amount to enjoy it.
As for why I was taking a Morning walk at 11 AM?
Well.... Cathedral is a big place taking care of it need a of time. I just completed all the work with my Familia members who were quite few in numbers, making it more time consuming.
As I was taking a stroll in front of Cathedral, taking in the view of garden surrounding it and the the visitors who came here for the purpose of tour or calming their minds, I sensed something.
When I look in the right side of the garden, there I saw her. A beautiful and mature looking lady with glistering deep blue hair like lapis. Strolling with a serene expression, calm and peaceful. She was wearing a blue, multi-layered dress, fully covering her body up to her throat, similar to elven or human noble dresses.
But the reason why I was observing her was not because of her beauty or possible higher class langrage. But far deeper, my divine instincts was telling me, something is up with her. She is not a simple mortal but a fairy and a higher one at that.
Maybe a spirit?
No, That seems to be impossible. Spirits, all have gone extinct after that legendary fight of heroes, spirits and OEBD. Even before we descended in this world.
But what if? What if one survived or a new one was born after so many years. A living spirit who can take the form of a human!?
(A/N- Danmachi, a quick spirit lore time...)
(Its goes like this- Spirits like Aria and Crystal comes in human form, were rare and far more powerful than those that come in other forms, thus peak level 8 was their starting strength. They had gone extinct after the battle with OEBD, according to the recorded of old.)
(At that time spirits were like a better form of Falna. Empowering their contracted heroes to a very high level. Some powerful ones like Aria could even push their contractor beyond the power of level 10..... To prove this statement. Aria's contractor, Albert, Ais's father was the strongest person ever lived in the Danmachi lore, even without any god's blessing. Stronger than whole Zeus and Hera Fimilia combined, even with a level 9, 8, 7s, dozens of 6s and 5s. As he gave OEBD more damage alone than both Familia combined.)
(Fun Fact- One eyed black dragon was a two eyed black dragon before gods came down. And it was Albert, who fucked its one eye, causing it to become OEBD of today.)
Back to topic....
That lady was walking around the garden, looking at the Cathedral from time to time. Likely, she want to explore it from inside. So I decided to perform a test, if she was a real spirit or not.
I took the captain of my Familia, John Dicker, the only level 2 child of mine and approach her.
"Hello, Miss. You seems to be interested in the Cathedral?" I asked, with a gentle and bright smile. Trying to look as much friendly as possible.
"Yes.. It looks beautiful. I wonder how it looks from inside." she replied. Her voice, thou not cute or girly but was soothing and light. (shrill and too high pitched voice is called girly, I guess?)
"Than, would you like to visit it from inside?" I asked.
"Huu?" she didn't reply but had a confused look on her face.
Than I realized my mistake. I was so excited about a possible Spirit, that I forgot to introduce myself and my child beside me.
"I am sorry, what a big fool I am. Let me introduce myself and my child to you. I am Luminous and by my side is my child, John Dicker. We are the caretakers of this Cathedral." I said with a light nod. Dicker also nodded in acknowledgement, not saying anything.
He was not saying anything, as he don't know what I wanted to achieve here. A mindful decision on his part, I'd say.
"Ohh, Please forgive me for not introducing myself as well. I am Crystal. Nice to meet you." she also introduced herself. 'A polite and elegant lass, I see.'
"What do you say, do you accept our invitation." I asked, back to the topic.
"I am sorry, but I have to respectfully decline your invitation for now. I may come some other day with my master." she said with a apologetic expression.
"So, you have a master you serve? I guess, I would like to meet him one day."
"Next time than. I will be leaving now." saying that she left the garden in a unhurried manner.
....
"Lord Luminous. Can I ask you, what was all this about? I don't think you were a womanizer or were you?"
BONK!
ಥ_ಥ Whyyy!!!!
"Shut up, foolish child mine or do you want one more?! Go and wipe the floor again!" I shouted at my fool of a child, ignoring his cry of injustice.
I will be keeping this secret to me for now. I don't want unnecessary trouble after all, neither for me, nor for others.

Three days later...
(A/N- Next day Rain come back.
Two days later he build the Barrier.
Today he is with Ouranos.)
Today I receive message from that spirit, that she will be visiting the Cathedral. So, I and Dicker stood by the gates of Cathedral, waiting for her.
Not after long she come into our view, as elegant as before. But she was coming here alone, not accompanied by anyone.
I thought that she would be coming with her master but it later turned out that, he was busy regarding some matter and could not come. Truly a shame...
I would have loved to meet a contractor of spirits, similar to the heroes of old era. Maybe next time?
...
"There are many tales about the spirit's remains. According to..."
Soon after entering the Cathedral, I started telling her the story behind this place, The Epic of Fulland of Water and Light, while walking toward the coffin.
That was where my test to determine, if she really is a spirit or not will take place.
Thou most people are confused, if it really contain the water spirit's remain or not, but as the incharge of this place I know the truth. The truth is that, it really contains the remains of Udine but never spoken aloud about it, in fear of greedy people seeking for it.
"Hmm, would you like to touch the coffin, Lady Crystal?" I asked after the end of the story, verbally pushing her toward to coffin.
But she looked a bit reluctant to that idea. And my dumbass of a child also against it. So I had to take some extra steps and use my authority as a God chosen to look after this place.
After a short speech on how it was not wrong for her to touch it, she finally took my offer and walk toward the coffin.
....
Suuuussssss....
And just as she touched it, a cloud steam come out of the contact point, where she had touched the coffin. Causing her steps to falter back.
Thou it wasn't the reaction I was expecting but not too out of expectation either.
"May I know your elemental affinity, Lady Crystal?" I asked, already expecting something related to fire or lightning.
"Ummm... Fire."
A simple answer, which remover my remaining doubts as well. And now I was 100% sure that she was a spirit. A flame spirit.
"Hmm, that explain it. These remains belong to a Water Spirit, while you being a Fire Spi- I mean Sorceress, which cause steam to come out." I explained, seeing confused and concerned faces of both Crystal and Dicker, but almost slipped my tongue out there.
Than after a bit of exchanging pleasantries, she left the Cathedral with Dicker escorting her out, leaving me alone with my own thoughts.
"Hahaha, to think spirits still exists. I should make a friendly relationship with her and her master. Who knows they might be the next heroes of this generation." I chuckled and spoke to myself like a true Idiot.....
