As she lost it...
Skylar thought as he glanced at Raftelia behind who is acting out of character.
"So lady cat tell me about it?"
Skylar asked after he realized there might be a lot more to what he conjectured about the chamber and the serpent's thought.
(Meow "Do you know what black gold is?")
Lady cat asked.
"What is black gold?"
Skylar answered with a question.
(Squeak "Black gold, a notorious substance in the cosmos. It has the appearance of a black reflective crystal. For some reason unknown its always found in large quantities alongside etherium deposits. And its characteristics properties, its source of notoriety, which is commonly known in all corners of the cosmos...")
Raftelia answering the question in a robotic manner, with her eyes looking lifelessly at nothing in front of her paused.
She continued after she turned her head to the side, towards Skylar, with her eyes slowly regaining life and clarity
(Squeak "...Black gold has zero tolerance for all forms of energy, it does not conduct energy in the slightest, so how? how...")
She paused again as her voice lowered gradually at the end.
And suddenly she yelled, pulling and tugging at Skylar's hand which she sneakily grabbed.
(Squeak "...how did you do that, tell me, how? tell me? how did you? how...")
She continued in her frantic ranting which the driver, mr rabbit especially found scary as deduced from the funny expression on his face and the swaying of the car.
(Meow "Raftelia calm down already")
Lady cat with an air of authority requested, after which instantly the atmosphere in the car suddenly turned tranquil and quiet.
Subsequently the little guy reappeared, its appearance composed and his look expressionless as usual.
"If black gold can't be manipulated with energy can't someone just use force on it like an hammer or even try cutting it with a sharp you know..."
(Meow "Its not that easy. It is a perfect crystal. Even its melting point is comparable to that of solar diamond.")
Lady cat said as she interrupted Skylar's narration of a brilliant idea.
(Squeak "Its handling alone is a cosmic level industry that consumes the most resources, energy and time in the entire cosmos") but there is someone here that can dig a large hole of about ten kilomitas through it and easily, with meagre energy...
Raftelia added solemnly.
"Is it really totally impossible to handle it with energy?"

At the time lady cat replied Skylar before she questioned him; the golden rat, Raftelia behind the duo lowered her furiously blushing face.
Why is she asking now... There is no way she will understand whatever i tell her...
Skylar thought as he looked behind him at the golden rat briefly before turning his face away from her with an obvious expression of relief.
"Has there ever been a creature that has been able to manipulate it?"
Skylar asked as he try is best to ignore the questioning look in the eyes that Lady cat fixed on him.
He clearly doesn't want to answer that question... His origin might be related to those specie of the past the old fogies talked about...
(Meow "There is this being in myth, a primordial god, they call him the All-Father. They say his mortal vessel he shedded when he transcended mortality turned into all the black gold found in the cosmos today. And from this, the sages concluded he might have been the only one capable of doing that in all of history since there has never been anyone as powerful as him who can't manipulate their body to some extent in history") is he related to the All-Father?...
Lady cat in a sitting position on Skylar's lap answered and thought while still maintaining a skeptical eye contact with Skylar.
the All-Father guy must be insanely big for his body to become a material commonly known in this world... Maybe this is related to the simulation lore and historical program...
Skylar thought while ignoring the skeptical gaze from the white chubby cat, lady cat.
(Squeak "I have heard about the story. The creation story of how the All-Father, the first sentient being created other sentient creatures like him, the heavens, and the nine continents he laid over the endless ocean")
Raftelia looking ahead at empty space with an expression of having a recollection added and as Skylar looked behind to listen.
So its really part of the simulation lore...
But am i the only one that can do it or can the others do the same... I will find out when i reach the safe zone...
Skylar thought after he turned his head facing Raftelia behind, forward.
A creature that can easily manipulate black gold... The cast away flesh of a mythical almighty being... An unusual thought pattern... A strange spirit... That burning will... (Sigh)
Lady cat who have at one point return to a sleeping position in Skylar's lap thought as she yawned and brush one of her fluffy ears with her paw.
About seven hours later;
(Squeak "Are we reaching the bridge? i sense a large space ahead")
Lady cat said as she opened her eyes that is now misty after she closed them for a long time.
"Mr Rabbit slow down"
Skylar instructed their driver and the car starts to decelerate and move at a slower speed. "yes, that will do"
No one is worried about the serpent...
Lady cat thought as she spied at everyone's expression with one eye.
Not long after; the walls of the tunnel collapsing ahead of the approaching car containing the group, collapsed into a larger space behind it.
And like this the it connects with a large space in front of them which the group could clearly see as the bright green light from it illuminated the region of the tunnel where it connected with the space.
At the same time as the car approached the space; the floor of the tunnel at the end to where the car is, gradually start to level into a modest slope which connected to the floor of the large space fairly a distance below the mouth of the tunnel.
We are finally here...
Skylar thought as the car descends on the slope leading to the floor of the incredibly large space revealed in front of them.
This space alone is as large my town IRL... I wonder how big this lair really is... Maybe as big as the pacific or bigger...
Skylar thought as he looked at the brightly lit space which seem to have no boundary at the sides or at the front as it continues into a distance his eye couldn't reach.
"What's that group of thing shining brightly over there called?"
Skylar asked with his head raised at a group of gigantic crystals, the source of the underground space illumination; artistically put together to form several units and each unit hung high above and forming a particular pattern on the white roof like marble few kilometers away from the floor of the underground space.
(Squeak "Its a chandelier there should be millions of it just here alone. The crystals they used in making this ones is white chromium dystol, very expensive")
Raftelia responded as her expression at the end became a bit wishful.
I get it now... the same concept or intention, the same name...
Skylar thought as lady cat on his lap shifted her body position.
(Meow "The floor also is made from gold and enchanted with rank seven hieroglyphs. The fellows who own this place in the past must have been insanely rich")
Lady cat added as she looked through the car screen at the glittering and artificially designed floor of the underground space which leads to the lair's bridge.
So gold is also an expensive commodity in this simulation... I thought there was going to be a twist giving how everything in this simulation has been unconventional... And they probably get the funds to build this place and everything else from there followers since she said its a popular religion in the past...
Skylar thought as he took in once again the stunning sight of the underground space.
A couple hours later;
In the car, they approached a colassal white wall blocking their path ahead. And the wall on its surface, has figures and characters inscribed on it like the floor of the underground space the speeding car is moving on.
"So that's the bridge!"
An overwhelming sight demanding worship...
Skylar wowed, uttered as he saw through the car screen the imposing wall of height definitely more than few kilometers and a lenght inestimable, as its end on both sides is completely out of sight.
(Meow "Yes, that's the bridge. Its probably four fifth the size of this underground space in length and at its side is some kind of large lever its attached to")
Lady cat with her eyes closed reported as they get closer to the wall which happened to be one of the two smallest side of the bridge where it connects to the underground space and the other side also, connects to the land beyond the sea of cloud at the other end of the lair.
"So above this wall is the surface of the bridge people pass when it rises above the cloud and that lever you mentioned might be the mechanism that lifts it up to the surface"
Skylar concluded.
(Squeak "Sky, what if the serpent is waiting ahead?")
Raftelia with her head lowered asked in a soft voice.
"We are not taking the surface, we are tunneling through the bridge. We won't be easily caught even if she has a million earth digging snakes, and as long as she herself doesn't come after us while we are moving in the earth"
Skylar answered as he looked briefly at mr Rabbit who gave a negative nod at his questioning gaze. And then behind him at the golden rat.
I wonder what that bitch will do about the hole i left on that black gold floor... If only that can stun her motionless for a very long time and buy us a lot of time...
Skylar at the same time thought as his expression become a little melancholic.
Now that i think about it what will that serpent reaction be when she saw the large hole in the chamber she put her trust on... And if we can totally escape her, that is one rival gone, and the last one, the annoying vanishing beast watching silently, shouldn't strike anytime soon...
Lady cat also thought after which her pupil reflected briefly the image of the little guy watching on quietly behind and beside raftelia on the crystal seat of the car.
About some minutes later;
The car stopped a few meters from the wall after which Skylar came down from it and approach the white wall of the bridge with beautiful and colorful hieroglyphs on it.
After he arrived in front of the wall, he placed his two palms glowing with a green spiritual light on the wall. And after a couple minutes, like magic, a round size hole capable of fitting the very big car appeared on it.
Afterwards, he returned to the car, and instructed their driver, mr rabbit who then guide the car into the hole on the wall he made and like before they continued their journey inside a tunnel forming just like previously, but now inside and through the white stone bridge.
