In front of Skylar and the serpent stood a gigantic black door, its height almost a kilometer and carved with golden patterns magnifying its valiant heritage.
As Skylar, still on the back of the green serpent, relish the marvelous artwork divinely bestowed on the door, the door opened slightly in the middle, revealing a passage large enough to fit the titanic, a testament to the enormous dimension of the room that lay behind it.
"Uncle this is the new palace i prepared for you, a congratulayory gift on your stellar performance in the arena. At this rate i hope you like it"
The serpent feigning courteousness said gently and ended with a protracted silence, which simply tells Skylar to get off her back.
Bitch, a palace or a sturdier and better prison...
Skylar thought as he jumped from the serpent's back to the space between the two slightly open doors leading into his new 'cell'.
"Bitch, see you soon (laughter)"
He said is farewell and strolled inside his new hideout like an undaunted warrior who never look back.
Inside the new 'cell'; "Fu.k!" (Thud) the sound of the gigantic door closing drowned Skylar's uncouth exclamation at the sight he laid his eyes on.
A square garden bounded by screen-like walls, displaying images of ancient times and of dimensions definitely in a couple kilometers with their ends at the top forming a mystical dome shaped vault which display a 3D live image of the enigmatic and unreachable starry sky of the bright heavens.
On the floor, exotic trees and plants of mystical glow thrives while accompanied by dazzling fantastical fauna fellowshiping with them.
The sandy floor of dry and glittering fine priceless sand is paved with a black crystal-like reflective material which servyes as a road network but at the sametime depicts a strangely familiar and mysteriously attractive pattern, the flower of life.
Is this holy and ancient atmosphere also a creation of a computer program... it really doesn't make any sense...
Skylar thought as he took another careful look at the fantastical sight unraveled around him with a smell and atmosphere that will make one think they have returned to the primeval era.
Skylar approached the film-like wall that displays an image of several gigantic primordial beings worshiping a headless being many times their size.
I knew it, she was gonna make things really difficult...(sighs)
He thought after he placed his hand which glow green spiritually on the wall.
(Squeak "I think this place used to be an isolation room used for some form of worship in the past.")
the sweet squeking of pretty sis who at one point has taken her spot beside Skylar rang in his ears.
"Pretty sis, did you by any chance saw my performance"
He asked as his hand trace out an invisible pattern on the wall.
(Squeak "Yes, i was at one of the viewing platforms")
i know you are going to think in that direction...
She replied after a deep breath and her thought which made are a bit downcast.
Hmm to have points to watch a random battle, she must be fairly strong at the least... i should note this...
"Pretty sis, what do you think about my performance? I can take criticism"
Skylar still feeling the wall with the palm of his hand glowing green spiritually, asked, his eyes never leaving the images glowing on the wall.
( unintelligible squeaking)
(Squeak "Okay, i think you were reckless after you conquered that feline beast, the felis yanura and after you...")
She replied after letting her excitement leak a bit.
Hmm, so that creature is called...
"Wait pretty sis, you mentioned feline and conquer now..."
Skylar interrupted pretty sis with his question, which the little unicorn floating beside him found dumb as it gave him a side eye.
(Squeak "Sky, don't you remember how you resisted the yanura's spiritual manipulation?")
Pretty sis surprised, asked as she turned to look Skylar in the eye for a hint that he is joking.
If i think carefully about it, i indeed remember a strange feeling that time..., maybe that's why i felt uncomfortable with the lizard's action... it was strange, i don't normally interfere in affairs that have nothing to do with me, not to talk of one that will obviously get me in trouble...
"Pretty sis, since you are saying she attacked me, why didn't she attack the lizard the same way and free herself, and how did it get captured in the first place if she is capable of messing with people's spirit?"
Skylar thought and asked as he glanced at mr Rabbit approaching them.
(Squeak "Her goal from the beginning was to get you. She intentionally got captured by the mountain gecko and manipulated it to bring her to you since she already spotted your location, but since she is a young one and about to have her adult ceremony, she didn't prepare an escape route for herself on the off chance her plans were to fail...")
"Pretty sis wait, are you saying she could kill the lizard but didn't because she came for me?"
Skylar interrupted her explanation and asked as he let the wall alone and turned his back to it.
(Squeak "Yes, she could have killed the mountain gecko, but she needed a cue for her manipulation of your spirit to work better, which the mountain gecko she was manipulating can provide.")
She responded with a softer squeak and blush as she lowered her head.
"Pretty sis, she got killed by that lizard, then how?"
Skylar a little confused and not processing her strange state asked as he bent to examine the glittering fine sand on the ground.
She replied after struggling to gain a bit of a breather from her strange state,
(Squeak "Its simple, its because she underestimated your spirit. She wasn't able to successfully manipulate you and when she briefly lost focus, the mountain gecko gained control of its spirit and cut off her tail which is the amplifier for her manipulation and therefore made her completely lost control of the situation.")
"Hmm, i still don't understand. What does she really want from me that will make her do something so stupid?"
He asked as he grasped an insect-like bird made of light and which upon getting into his hold, turned into specks of light that flew away from him and converge to reform the creature that continued on its flight path again.
"Ehm, .... (squeaking)"
She became tongue-tied, fidgeting nervously, unable to express herself coherently.
The creature here are bigger and far more diverse than in our previous room..
"Pretty sis"
Skylar called out, noticing her unusual state.
(Squeak "Your seed")
She whispered with a very soft and very high -pitched squeak.
Mr Rabbit standing at a side with arms folded glared at Skylar and the little unicorn that was listening intensively to their conversation also reacted as it vanished suddenly.
"Pretty sis, its what i am thinking right?"
Skylar asked, staring into the eyes of the embarrassed golden rat.
The golden rat nodded affirmatively and she quickly turned her face away from the bewildered Skylar whose mouth at one side is twitching comically.
Fu.k, so that's why the lizard is needed as a cue... this game is wild... i almost become a victim...
"Pretty sis, what will happen to someone she wants when she gets them?"
He asked for the sake of confirming his expectation.
(Squeak "Nine out of ten survive the encounter")
She replied him this time with courage as she only lowers her head with no strange squirming.
"Wait, does she later kill them after getting what she wants?"
Skylar asked as his sight caught the hiding little guy who reappeared.
(Squeak "No, since its her adult ceremony, they don't kill, but very few specie can experience the act and survive because they extract a lot of seed from their victim which they store in a special vessel located in their womb for compression so that they can have a healthier offspring...") But sky you are special, you will survive and she may even cling unto you after...
She lectured softly and slowly with her head bowed to hide her shameful expression and thought in her mind as a wistful look took over her face.
...Just imagining it... very scary... i was really very lucky or else i might have died the most shameful and the craziest death ever...
"I know now. I should take the creatures of this world seriously"
He said after his chilling thought with an understanding smile as he walked away from the wall. The others confused, not understanding his words, still followed behind him closely and in his back they felt they saw briefly a shadow on it.
