We arrive at Orange Town's harbor after around half an hour, the three pirates we put through forced labor huffing behind us.
"Let's find that Buggy guy, maybe ask about our Captain." Zoro muses.
"Knowing Luffy, he must be fighting him already." I tell him, just in time for a loud explosion to be heard.
"There he is." I sigh.
"That was one impressive explosion." Zoro comments.
We started going in the explosion's direction, well, I did, I had to hold Zoro, so he didn't go to the other side of the island.
As we arrived there, we see Nami fighting quite a group of pirates by herself, and while she was clearly getting tired, she was kicking their asses.
"Look like the party started without us." Zoro remarked and immediately charged to stop the group of pirates that were attacking Nami, "How many pirates does it takes to handle one girl?"
"An entire crew it seems." I snarked, going to Luffy's cage, "Really Luffy, a cage?"
"Clair! Zoro!" Luffy cheers.
"You hurt?" Zoro asks Nami as I reach into the bars of Luffy's cage, grabbing the rope that was holding him.
"Luckily for us, I asked Rika's mother for a knife before leaving the island!" I smile as I grab my new knife and use it to cut Luffy's ropes.
"So you are Roronoa Zoro, the Pirate Hunter," a new voice announces. Coming behind Zoro I can see Buggy the Clown's ugly face.
"You must be here for my head then!" He declares in a dramatic pose.
Zoro just ignores him and says, "I gave up pirate hunting, I have no interest in you." He scoffs, "I'm just those two's crewmate."
Buggy then sneers at Zoro, "I'm interested though! Killing you would bolster my reputation."
Zoro just rolls his eyes, "Your funeral."
In just a second Zoro chops Buggy into pieces.
"Damn, that was too easy." He sounds a bit disappointed. And the Buggy pirates are snickering at him as Luffy asks to be let out of the cage.
I sigh, "Zoro are you an idiot?" I Couldn't help but facepalm.
"HUH?! What's with you?" He asks indignant.
As a hand begins getting close to Zoro a green barrier appears behind him, blocking the hand that Buggy plans to use to stab Zoro.
"What the hell?!" Zoro jumps back.
"I literally explained to you about his devil fruit, and you still fell for that trick?" I say in a disappointed tone, "If I didn't intervene you would've been stabbed."
"I thought you were joking." Zoro responded.
"Why the fuck would I joke about that?!" I yell at him, baffled.
Buggy's body springs from the floor, completely unharmed, white faced and screaming, "HOW DID YOU KNOW ABOUT THAT?!"
I pose dramatically, "Didn't you know you were famous Buggy?" His face took a proud look before I continued, "Famous at being a joke."
I can actually see steam coming out of his ear's, he really is angry.
While Nami snickers and Luffy loudly laughs.
"Y-you… It doesn't matter! It seems you know I ate the Chop Chop fruit, that's the name of the devil fruit I ate! Now I am a Chop Chop man that can't be cut!"
Finally registering what just happened, Nami's face turned shocked at Buggy's fruit display.
"His body is back together again! I thought the stories about the devil fruits were just myths!"
"Chop Chop man?! That guy is a freak!" Luffy gasps.
I shot a small Gandr at Luffy's head, "Pot meet kettle," I say flatly. "You're the last person who can say that."
"Ouch, shishishi, you're right." He laughs
"Well, no ideas how to deal with this guy." Zoro says.
"Understandable." I nod.
Zoro was a one trick pony, and Sanji is not here to compensate for his shortcomings.
"Big nose is a coward for trying to stab Zoro in the back like that!" Luffy declares.
Huh, everyone got quiet.
"Luffy, you really need to learn manners." I mutter.
"…Fuck." Nami groans.
"Who's… got a big nose?!" Buggy screams, whipping around to throw a knife directly at Luffy through the bars, Nami and Zoro gasp while I just wait, Luffy is going to catch that with his teeth after all.
And so he did.
"Buggy!" Luffy yells through the knife between his teeth, "I'm going to kick your ass!"
Buggy just laughs hysterically, "You? Kick my ass? How about I just kill the four of you right here!"
"We're fucked," Nami mutters while looking around anxiously at the chuckling Buggy pirates.
Luffy with a obnoxious laugh yells, "I refuse to die! Zoro, Clair, run!"
"What? They came to save you! What're you going to do?" Nami yells back at him.
"What?" Zoro asks incredulously but Luffy just keeps smiling. Zoro stares for a second before smirking. "Understood."
"You fools! As if I'd let you escape!" Buggy shrieks as he attacks Zoro with a wave of blades, Zoro simply bisects him again, then we make eye contact and I just nod, Zoro smiles before diving right between Buggy's separated parts and makes a dash for the cannon the same time I do.
"Fool! Your three sword style has-hey listen when I'm talking to you!" Buggy turns around just in time for a view of me and Zoro flipping the cannon.
I surprisingly don't need to use my reinforcement to do it, my training with Luffy really paid off.
Then we flip it.
"Shit! The cannon is pointed at us!" Buggy screeches.
"Light the damn thing!" Zoro yells at Nami, she rushes to do just that.
"Wait wait THAT IS!!!"
The explosion was impressive, im surely going to study the gunpowder used in these when I have the chance.
