While they went to look for food, on the other side,
Liam took Elena on the other side of the shore.
He looked at her whose head is still down.
He laughed and said with apologies tone "Okay okay baby I am sorry. I shouldn't have said that."
He put his hands on her cheeks and looked at her face.
Liam was stunned as he moved her face, because she was crying.
"Ohh ohh baby, it's alright." He really didn't thought that she would cry.
He took her into his arms and started patting her back as if she is a child.
After some time,
Elena stopped crying but she was still hugging him.
In fact her memories about past are fuzzy like how they meet or what he had done most of the time, but his face became clear in her memories.
In other words, he is the one she is waiting for the years.
