The Eight Inner Gates technique releases the body's natural chakra restrictions, unleashing immense energy. Within the chakra pathway system are the "Eight Gates," which regulate and suppress chakra flow: the Gate of Opening, Gate of Healing, Gate of Life, Gate of Pain, Gate of Limit, Gate of View, Gate of Wonder, and Gate of Death. While these gates limit chakra usage to protect the body, this technique bypasses those limits, granting strength dozens of times greater than normal. However, the strain causes severe self-damage, classifying it as a forbidden art.
Kazuyama was able to master the Eight Inner Gates due to his System, which vastly enhanced his physical strength. When he activated the Gate of Opening, he removed the mental restriction on his brain, allowing him to utilize 100% of his physical capabilities. This consumed his energy at an accelerated rate, drastically boosting his speed and power.
Just as a wave of Gold Dust was about to strike, Kazuyama shot forward at blinding speed.
"Damn it, Kazuyama! What did you do? Your chakra—it's erupting!"
Chōmei, the entity within Kazuyama, was in shock, sensing the overwhelming surge of chakra bursting from every part of Kazuyama's body. The sheer scale of it defied even Chōmei's understanding—something even the Tailed Beasts, with their vast reserves of chakra, had never experienced.
Rasa, witnessing the display, was equally stunned. The power and speed Kazuyama exhibited were inhuman.
"Damn it! Is this another forbidden technique? Something that breaks the limits of the body?"
Although Sunagakure had taijutsu specialists, none could compare to the speed Kazuyama now demonstrated.
"It's not over yet!" Kazuyama roared.
"Eight Inner Gates! Second Gate! Gate of Healing! Open!
Third Gate! Gate of Life! Open!"
The moment the third gate opened, Kazuyama's skin turned blood-red, and his chakra surged to an even higher level. The oppressive aura radiating from him made even Rasa feel uneasy.
Despite the excruciating strain on his body, Kazuyama gritted his teeth, determined to continue pushing forward.
"Damn it! How can you be this strong? Just who are you?!" Rasa demanded as the Gold Dust failed to keep up with Kazuyama's movements.
Kazuyama, his speed now completely unmatched, barely exerted his legs, yet his motion was already beyond Rasa's perception.
"You dared to come to Konoha—be prepared to stay!" Kazuyama declared. "Let me make sure you remember!"
In the blink of an eye, he vanished—not due to speed alone but by activating the Flying Thunder God Technique. The instant Kazuyama disappeared, a wave of fear coursed through Rasa.
Before Rasa could react, Kazuyama reappeared behind him. Beneath Rasa's black shirt, bold characters spelled out: "Your father is here!"
It was clear Kazuyama had left the mark when he used One Thousand Years of Death to strike Rasa.
"Are you ready to face your fear? Rasa!"
As soon as the words fell, Rasa barely had time to react before a punch struck his kidneys, sending him flying through the air.
"Puff!"
The blow was devastating. Rasa coughed up a mouthful of bile as pain tore through his body. Why getting hit in the kidneys makes you vomit bile? Who knows—but it did!
After all, the Eight Inner Gates didn't just amplify chakra and speed; it dramatically increased raw power. The moment the punch landed, Rasa felt his body begin to fall apart.
But this was only the beginning.
What does "infinite combos" mean? Some might think it's just a flurry of non-stop attacks. But Kazuyama knew better. To him, the essence of infinite combos was simple: one attack as the anchor, followed by relentless, limitless strikes. The goal was to make the opponent feel the overwhelming force of every single blow.
As Kazuyama swung his fist, the Flying Thunder God Technique activated again. This time, he appeared directly in front of Rasa, whose face collided squarely with Kazuyama's fist.
"Puff!"
The punch connected with brutal force, and inertia carried the damage through Rasa's body, forcing him to spit blood instead of bile this time. His battered form tumbled downward.
But the assault didn't stop.
The Flying Thunder God Technique activated once more, positioning Kazuyama beneath Rasa, in the same spot, with the same fist. This time, he drove the blow into Rasa's stomach.
Kazuyama demonstrated perfectly what it meant to never give up or lose hope!
Rasa remained suspended in the air for a full minute, caught in the relentless assault of the Flying Thunder God Technique, the punches raining down without pause. By the time the attack ended, Rasa lay on the ground, gasping for breath. He had endured no fewer than a hundred devastating punches in that single minute. Each one landed with crushing force, leaving him unable to counterattack.
Kazuyama, utterly drained, leaned against a nearby tree, panting heavily. Pain coursed through his entire body. He had pushed himself to the limit, putting everything into the Flying Thunder God Technique while unleashing his punches. Even the act of striking had become almost too much for him. Had he also been forced to move, he feared he would have collapsed long before taking Rasa down.
By the end of the barrage, Kazuyama's punches had lost much of their initial power, but the damage had already been done. If he had retained his earlier strength, he was certain Rasa would now be either dead or barely clinging to life.
"Damn..."
Rasa's voice broke the silence. His mouth and nose bled, his face battered and bruised, yet his tenacity remained intact. A glint of determination flickered in his bloodshot eyes. Suddenly, Gold Dust surged out from beneath his clothes, catching Kazuyama by surprise. When had it covered his body?
Using the Gold Dust as support, Rasa slowly stood. His fiery gaze locked onto Kazuyama.
"My body has always been protected by Gold Dust... But I never expected your fists to shatter my Gold Dust Armor," he rasped.
"It's only because of this protection that I survived... But unfortunately for you, you couldn't finish me off. And now you've reached your limit, haven't you?"
Rasa raised his right hand, and the Gold Dust swirled around him once more. Thanks to Magnet Release, as long as he had chakra, he could continue to fight, disregarding his physical exhaustion.
"Hmph, you still have tricks up your sleeve," Kazuyama muttered, a faint smirk on his lips.
"Hehe... Even so, you won't defeat me, Rasa. The next time we meet, I'll show you the true power of Konoha's Ultimate Move. For now... hehe... goodbye."
Kazuyama was not one to prolong a fight unnecessarily. He had already reduced Rasa to a battered wreck, and staying would only invite danger. He wasn't foolish—he had teammates to think about.
Using what little chakra remained, Kazuyama bolted, leaving Rasa behind to stew in frustration.
"Bastard! Don't run! Fight me, you coward!" Rasa roared, his voice echoing in the air.
Kazuyama: Pfft, you're the idiot, not me. Why would I keep fighting you?
As Rasa's furious cries faded into the distance, the familiar system prompt finally sounded in Kazuyama's ears.
