Chapter 80 - Pseudo Legendary

From Larry's perspective, two figures loomed behind Greed and Gluttony. Their mere presence was suffocating. "Hm?"Maha Zoldyck, who had been leisurely watching a cartoon while sitting on a small stool, suddenly turned his head toward Larry's direction. His brows furrowed. "There's more than one of those beasts?!" His jaw slackened in shock, revealing his sparse, aged teeth. His expression was almost comical, like an old man who had just suffered memory loss.

He had suspected Larry was hiding more Nen beasts, but seeing it confirmed with his own eyes was a different matter altogether. Larry, unaware that he had just traumatized an elderly assassin, was busy admiring his newest companion.

Its body was entirely orange, a warm and inviting shade. Two thin antennae sprouted from its head, and a pair of large wings stretched from its back. Its slightly pudgy belly only made it more adorable. It was a newly acquired Pokémon, born from his enemies—one of the strongest among them. A pseudo-legendary Pokémon.

At its peak, Outrage unleashes pure destructive force, overwhelming foes with relentless fury.

Like Tyranitar before it, Dragonite had undergone restriction-based enhancements, pushing it directly to S-rank. Larry had started noticing a pattern—every pseudo-legendary Pokémon seemed to reach this level through his method.

As for breaking past S-rank and reaching SS-rank… that probably required something beyond a pseudo-legendary. A true mythical Pokémon. His current roster was terrifying. S-rank Tyranitar. S-rank Dragonite. A+ Happiny. A-rank Gardevoir, Gengar, and Arcanine. Two S-ranks. Four A-ranks. If the world knew about his lineup, they would be utterly shaken.

When Larry first obtained Tyranitar, he had considered himself one of the strongest in the world. Only the absolute elite—people like Netero or Maha—posed a real threat.

But now?

Unless the world's top Nen users came together to take him down, Larry had no equal. Without exaggeration, he was now unstoppable.

Greed mustered every ounce of his remaining strength to turn his head, and what he saw behind Gluttony made his blood run cold. A towering steel behemoth loomed over them, its sheer presence making Gluttony look like nothing more than a grotesque, stitched-up experiment gone wrong. There was no comparison. They weren't even in the same league.

Neither of them spoke. The scenes of the battle replayed in their minds, and they both arrived at the same chilling realization. 'It was over.'

A roar echoed through the battlefield—not one, but two. The sound rang in their ears like a death knell. So it was true. Wrath and Envy had really died at Larry's hands. And now, they finally understood why. Gluttony and Greed locked eyes. No words were needed. Their thoughts aligned in an instant. They had only one choice left. Greed activated his brute force Nen ability. Gluttony sharpened his claws, pouring all of his remaining energy into a desperate final attack.

The next moment, two devastating blows—one fueled by raw power, the other by dragon's wrath—struck them with crushing force.

BAM!!!!

A deafening explosion followed. The ground beneath them collapsed as shockwaves rippled outward, tearing through the earth like a nuclear blast. The impact reduced countless stones to dust, sending debris flying in all directions. Entire sections of the forest were flattened, massive trees crashing to the ground like dominoes.

A few seconds later, silence fell. When the dust finally settled, an enormous crater lay before Larry, carved into the battlefield by the sheer force of the attack. Had it not been for Gardevoir's teleportation, he might have been caught up in the destruction himself. He reappeared beside Tyranitar and Dragonite, standing at the very center of the devastation. If anyone else had wanted to reach this spot, they would have had to climb down into the massive pit that now scarred the landscape.

As he had expected, Greed and Gluttony had been utterly annihilated. Their bodies were unrecognizable, crushed into unidentifiable pieces. Their deaths were even more gruesome than those of Rage and Envy. Wrath had been right in his final moments. There was no need for anyone to avenge him. Because even if the remaining members of the Seven Deadly Sins banded together, they wouldn't be able to kill Larry. They weren't strong enough before, and they certainly weren't strong enough now.

Greed and Gluttony hadn't lasted a single round against him. But that didn't mean they were weak. In fact, the Seven Deadly Sins were terrifyingly strong. Every single one of them was an elite fighter in the outside world. Wrath and Envy had both been A-rank combatants, with the ability to temporarily push beyond their limits in short bursts. Greed and Gluttony had immense potential, their Nen abilities ranking among the most powerful. Had they been given more time to develop, their future growth would have been monstrous.

It was no exaggeration that they were considered S-rank criminals. They had earned that title. But they had made one fatal mistake. They picked a fight with Larry. Against him, their overwhelming strength meant nothing.

They had died not because they were weak, but because they had gone up against the wrong opponent. After finishing them off, Larry noticed the experience points for both Tyranitar and Dragonite had increased. He couldn't help but chuckle to himself. The Seven Deadly Sins were oddly generous. They had a reputation as notorious criminals, but in reality, they were helpful in their own way—volunteering to bring him more strength.

In the blink of an eye, he had wiped out four of the Seven Deadly Sins. More than half their group was gone. The title of Seven Deadly Sins no longer even applied to them. Shaking off his thoughts, Larry turned his attention to the other survivor on the battlefield—The Shadow Beast known as Worm.

A pitiful wail echoed from the creature's direction. Larry had almost forgotten about the little worm hiding in the dirt, but now that things had settled, it was time to deal with him. The Shadow Beast Worm thought he had hidden himself well. And to be fair, he had Against Greed and Gluttony.

But against Larry? He had never once escaped Larry's notice. His aura suppression was impressive, but he was nowhere near Maha's level.

Even without being directly targeted, Worm had been caught in the massive shockwave of Tyranitar and Dragonite's joint attack. The sheer force had blasted him out of the soil, leaving him severely injured just from the aftermath alone. Larry walked over to where The Shadow Beast lay, looking down at his grotesque form with a mix of curiosity and disgust. "So? What exactly are you doing here?"
