Zephyrine's POV
"How do you feel now? Shouldn't you still be resting?" I waved at the pack members who greeted me as I strolled through the pack.
I had woken up next morning and decided to stroll the pack. Roland had suddenly appeared beside me, falling into step despite my earlier orders for him to get some rest. He had chosen to ignore them yet again.
I sighed in frustration. "You know how I'll feel if you break down, right? I told you to rest."
Roland moved ahead of me and bowed his head slightly. "My queen, I will try to keep my feelings in check and not let them interfere with our agenda. But please, don't push me away."
I let out an exasperated sigh. "It's alright. You can get up."
I walked past him, moving ahead while he lingered for a second, watching me. Then, as expected, he hurried to catch up.
"My queen, where are we heading?"
I glanced at him with a small smile. "I'm going to see Dara. I haven't had time to check on her."
