Darkness seemed to seep in and then there was nothing. Not in a metaphorical way but literally all I had was my thoughts. I was just left with my thoughts in this never ending nothing.
I was saturated with grief.. I thought that this would allow me to be stronger, and while maybe that is true, what is the point if I can't be with those I meet. At Least those who matter to me. The time I spent with Akari meant so much to me and to just no longer be able to see her is a fate worse than death.
My weeping however wouldn't last forever.

'Close window'
When I mentally closed the window that was flashing in my face and when I opened my eyes I was back at the very moment when I had left. Vial still in my hand empty with no trace of what has transpired.
"I would love to sleep" I remarked to myself as I began to wheel myself back to the dorm room I stayed in most nights. At Least that was until I hit my foot against the door. 'Ouch' I remarked due to the stinging pain, but then it hit me. I felt pain? In my leg?
I leapt out the wheelchair, planting my feet against the tiled floor.
"OH MY GOD!"
Tears started pouring from my eyes. I couldn't believe I could walk again. It may seem stupid but until now everything felt like a dream, almost surreal to me. Now… Now I had power. I had the ability to dictate my life.
So I walked behind my wheel chair as I pushed it to my room, I pushed it against the corner of the room and laid my head against the comfortable pillow… at least when compared to the clinic.
Thoughts of Akari flashed through my mind and I suddenly felt so lonely. I missed her so much. I loved her… these sad thoughts caused me to toss and turn most of the night, but my exhaustion caught up with me and I fell asleep staring at the moon falling. It's Silver beauty only second to the beautiful fox woman I loved.
=======================
Back in the world of Wuxia, Akari stood over Al's lifeless body, her amethyst eyes filled with a mixture of grief and rage. The battle around her had come to a standstill as the remaining cultivators realized that Elder Feng was dead. But Akari didn't care about them. Her focus on her lover's corpse and how they desecrated it.
"Al…" she whispered, her voice trembling with emotion. She knelt beside, her hands trembling as she brushed a strand of hair from his bloodied face behind his ear. "You can't leave me. Not like this."
But no one answered. He was gone, and no amount of grief or rage could bring him back. Akari's tears poured as a hatred filled her vessel, Akari's amethyst eyes glowing with an otherworldly light as she stood and turned to face the remaining cultivators.
"You…" she said, her voice low and menacing. "You took him from me. You took everything from me."
The ground shook as darkness inked the sky. Tendrils of darkness spilled out across the ground spread like a virus infecting its host.
Light seemed to inverse itself as pure darkness simply overwrote reality. Light was voided and replaced and so was the cultivator's surroundings.
Akari's Silver hair rose above her head like static before a thunderstorm. The hair strands spun together and formed into a mass seemingly endlessly expanding until it reached full mass taking the shape of a cylinder.
Silence spread among the people witnessing this event.
Mortals always failed to comprehend the unknown and now was no different.
Silence and stillness was created by the divine, and therefore it is only right for it to be broken by them.
The fox woman spread her lips as she spoke a whisper that echoed among the people listening.
""Tsuki ga sora ni nobore, shizumu koto de, hitobito o terasu."
The darkness had fully encompassed all that could be corrupted… Until the planetary mass began to rise from what was her hair.
The illuminating Moon rose to the sky slowly above her. Taking its rightful place against the darkness like a jewel placed perfectly on a crown.
The cultivators hesitated, their weapons trembling in their hands as they realized the danger they were in. But it was too late. Akari's rage was unstoppable.
With a systematic like movement she raised her hand forward like a marionette before remanding in the air pointing toward the cultivators surrounding her.
the one known once as Inari was being reborn under the full moon. The knew born celestial body gave praise to its creator as moonlight bent itself to illuminate her beauty.
The cultivators were no longer still and rushed toward her feeling the danger this anomalous entity was emanating from herself.
There were no words spoken as sound itself seemed no longer to exist. The closest of the group of cultivators was perhaps the luckiest as they got a second to consider the consequences of the words that he read from Inari's lips.
"Moon fall"
Instantaneously light poured from the moon falling upon Inari's enemies consuming them.. Leaving nothing in return.
Inari wasn't done. Her rage was unable to be satisfied with their death. This was just the beginning. They took all she had away from her, and before she took him back she would take all they loved from them. Inari would slaughter every last one of the cultivators… the Jade Serpent Sect was just the best place to start. Inari was determined to find him. She knew she would. After all, they promised to be together forever.
She had time and nothing could get in her way anymore.
Inari may have been sealed at the genesis of this world as the woman Akari, However that would no longer stop her. They could never stop her ever again.
