Chapter 47 - Yamamoto: Sigh, it’s good to be young.

Yamamoto was practicing calligraphy in his room. He felt very empty during this period. He thought his life would be very busy after he established the Gotei 13. But he didn't expect that all he had to do every day was drink tea and practice calligraphy.

Yamabuki has helped me think of things that I can think of and things that I cannot think of for the time being and is implementing them step by step.

Just as he finished writing and was drinking tea, a heart-wrenching voice came: "Captain, help!"

Hmm? I think I'm hallucinating.

Didn't Yamabuki go out on a mission?

How come I heard him shouting for help?

Never mind, just continue drinking tea.

Yamabuki was exhausted from being chased; why didn't the old man come out? If you don't come out, your vice captain will be hacked to death!

Yamabuki seized the opportunity and rushed into the old man's room in an instant. Yamamoto was drinking tea there leisurely when he saw his vice captain rushing in like a beggar and falling to the ground with a plop, gasping for breath.

Yamamoto looked at his vice captain with a strange look. How could he be so embarrassed during the mission?

Then, Batsu'unsai rushed in with a knife.

So they were fighting! That's understandable!

"Stop right there! How dare you lie to me!" Batsu'unsai pointed the tip of his knife at Yamabuki.

"Sister, can't you grasp the point? Wasn't your original purpose to kill people to silence them?" Yamabuki wailed. The way you said it makes me seem like a heartless man who deceived a young girl.

Sure enough, Yamamoto's eyes became strange when he looked at him.

"Captain, please listen to my explanation. It's not what you think... Ahhh! Help!" Before Yamabuki could finish his words, Batsu'unsai had already chopped him down with a knife.

Yamamoto Shigekuni, you have changed! You watched me get chopped and did nothing! You are no longer my good captain! You are no longer my lifelong good buddy!

Yamamoto took a sip from the teacup. It's great to be young! Full of energy! Yamabuki is really something. Why not lie about anything else? She's not a girl who would take a lie! Now, she's here with a knife to kill you, right? It's hard for an honest person like him to judge family affairs. I'd better pretend that I didn't see it!

"Captain..."

"Yamabuki, as someone who has been through this, I advise you that as a man, you must be responsible." Yamamoto said solemnly.

"Take responsibility? Take responsibility!" Yamabuki dodged the knife and yelled, "You don't even know what happened. Anyway, help me hold down that crazy bitch!"

"Yamabuki, this is your fault. How can I interfere in such matters? You have to solve it yourself!" Yamamoto said, shaking his head, then he lowered his head and pretended to sip tea.

Batsu'unsai swung the naginata in one hand and slashed at him with the force of sweeping away thousands of troops. Yamabuki had no choice but to jump onto the roof. Batsu'unsai followed suit and chopped him down with the sword.

"Wait a minute... Stop fighting here, you two. This is my room..."

"Boom!!!"

Thanks to Batsu'unsai's unremitting efforts, half of the house was chopped down.

Yamamoto was holding the broken teacup in his hand, with veins bulging on his forehead.

"You two little brats... just be quiet!"

Boom!!!

A terrifying reiatsu exploded.

A minute later, Yamabuki and Batsu'unsai were kneeling in the ruins very obediently.

Yamabuki recounted the entire story as quickly as possible. Yamamoto tried hard not to laugh out loud. How come you always encounter so many things?

Aren't you so unlucky, kid?

but...

Yamamoto looked at Batsu'unsai. This girl was indeed powerful. Her strength was not inferior to Saitō Furōfushi. If she could be absorbed into the Gotei 13, she would definitely be a great help.

"Batsu'unsai, I have a general understanding of your situation. You like killing, but the education you received since childhood does not allow you to do that. Humph, what is education? The ultimate goal of education is to enable people to become talented, not to restrain people. If the so-called education is used to restrain a person's nature and talent, then this kind of education is the most rubbish in the world. Batsu'unsai, I have seen your talent and strength, so just abandon those useless things. Join our Gotei 13, and you can fully release your true nature." Yamamoto said solemnly.

Batsu'unsai looked at Yamamoto quietly. During the fight just now, this uncle knocked her out in thirty seconds with his bare hands against a naginata. She couldn't beat him; she really couldn't beat him!

And what this uncle said makes sense.

The desire to fight and kill is one's nature. Why should one use the so-called "education" received after birth to limit one's nature and talent?

Batsu'unsai nodded happily. If you can't beat them, just join them. Isn't that normal?

Yamabuki looked on in shock as Yamamoto effortlessly persuaded Batsu'unsai.

I see!

If you can't beat the other person, don't expect him to sit down and reason with you.

As expected, no matter which world you are in, if you want to have the right to speak, you must have absolute strength.

You have to constantly improve your abilities.

"By the way, Captain, there is one thing I forgot to tell you. We found a large number of corpses in the Ryūgon District. All of them were covered with knife wounds. I guess someone is causing chaos in Rukongai. Should we send someone to investigate?" asked Yamabuki.

"No need." Yamamoto refused directly: "We don't have the manpower to take care of those trivial matters right now. As long as the other party doesn't go too far, we can turn a blind eye now."

Yamabuki was not surprised by this answer. To the Soul Society, ordinary residents of Rukongai were not even considered to be alive. They were more like tools used to maintain the balance of the three realms.

During the Thousand-Year Bloody War, the rise of the Quincy led to the massacre of many of the Hollows in the world.

In order to maintain the balance between the Soul Society and the real world, Mayuri Kurotsuchi killed 26,000 people without authorization.

When Captain Yamamoto found out about this, he reprimanded Mayuri Kurotsuchi but did not impose any substantial punishment.

In other words, he acquiesced to the matter.

Yamamoto a thousand years ago was even more ruthless. Not to mention those ordinary residents of Rukongai; when necessary, he would even abandon his comrades, who he had been with day and night.

It was precisely because of his ruthlessness and determination that he was able to suppress the three realms and protect the peace of Soul Society for a thousand years.

Although Yamabuki felt a little regretful, it was the captain's decision, and he couldn't say anything.

He didn't even know that the culprit of the massacre was silently approaching the Soul Society.

"You two should go down and have a rest first. We will call you when there is something wrong." Yamamoto said.

Yamabuki brought Batsu'unsai to the resting place and finally subdued this crazy woman!
