Three ordinary, peaceful days passed, during which Glen and Hermione enjoyed a tranquil life.

Unable to find Harry and Ron, students curious about the story had to seek out Glen and Hermione instead.

After her initial excitement discussing that night's events with her girlfriends on the first day, Hermione grew tired of the constant questions. She left Crookshanks with her roommates and dragged Glen to hide in the Room of Requirement.

Crookshanks: ?

What could two kids do alone in the Room of Requirement?

Study and train, of course.

Even after exams and encountering Voldemort, Hermione maintained her studious attitude, completely unaffected. Mornings were spent studying books borrowed from the library, afternoons dueling with Glen, and evenings walking by the Black Lake after dinner. At curfew, though Hermione wanted to stay with Glen... cuddling wasn't possible then - she had to return to her dormitory.

Afterwards, Glen would wait in the Great Hall for Neville and Draco to arrive for their "relaxing" activities in the Forbidden Forest.

Neville and Draco: Yeah, right, "relaxing."

Only the abnormal Glen would think so. With holidays approaching and knowing they couldn't train in the Forest during break, Glen decided to triple their training these three days.

The Gryffindor and Slytherin frantically waved their hands in refusal, attempting resistance.

But resistance was futile with Glen - only obedience existed.

After three days of continuous training, Neville and Draco were listless during the day, their bodies aching as if their bones would fall apart.

But the gains were substantial - at least they discovered their true limits again.

Lying in bed, silent tears rolled down their cheeks.

This daily training to the extreme was really unnecessary! They couldn't take it anymore!

Fortunately, Glen's cruel training methods would soon end.

Besides staying in the Room of Requirement with Hermione to study... and train, and abandoning Neville and Draco to survive in the Forest, Glen and Hermione encountered Hagrid during an evening walk.

Hagrid had clearly been searching for them. Upon seeing them, his rugged face crumpled as tears burst forth, and he grabbed them both in a sobbing embrace.

Glen protected Hermione but sensed the gentle giant's emotions hadn't affected his control - he remained the gentle Hagrid, so Glen allowed the embrace.

Between sobs and snot, Hagrid looked extremely remorseful: "I'm sorry - it's all my fault, you stupid oaf - I told him how to get past Fluffy - told that bastard myself - I, I'll never drink again. It's all my fault. Not only did I almost get Harry and Ron killed, but you two also encountered... encountered..."

"Voldemort," Hermione prompted from within Hagrid's embrace.

Hagrid seemed startled, stammering anxiously: "Oh, don't say his name - he'll know someone's talking about him."

Hermione's small hand patted Hagrid's arm consolingly: "It's alright, Hagrid. What can Voldemort do even if he knows? And this isn't your fault. If Voldemort really wanted to steal the Stone, he might have forced his way into Hogwarts even without knowing how to get past Fluffy. That would have caused even more damage."

Hagrid stopped crying, asking dumbly: "Is, is that right?"

"Of course!" The young witch guiltily shifted her gaze slightly.

Ah, tonight is such a night, and my, this scenery here is just so... scenic.

Clearly Hermione was trying to ease Hagrid's guilt.

After all, leaking information wasn't his intention - Hagrid just had loose lips.

His mouth was like a sieve - everything leaked out!

Glen silently contemplated how to use potions to treat Hagrid's symptoms from years of Veritaserum consumption.

Yes, he believed this theory - after all, Hagrid was clearly no ordinary person, so his unusual physiology made sense.

They needed to quickly prevent such secret leaks that endangered him and Hermione.

But why did Hagrid constantly drink Veritaserum?

Glen couldn't figure it out - this unsolved mystery would likely remain buried in his heart for years to come.

Under Hermione's constant comfort and persuasion, the sobbing Hagrid finally quieted, forcing a smile: "Oh, thank you Hermione. You're still comforting me now - you're such a sweet and thoughtful little witch."

"Indeed," Glen agreed automatically without thinking, still pondering Hagrid's situation, not even realizing what he'd said.

The thick-headed giant clearly hadn't heard, but the young witch pressed against Glen caught those two words perfectly.

Hermione's face gradually reddened with both happiness and shyness, though the night concealed it. Her hands trapped by Hagrid's embrace, she could only express her embarrassed frustration by bumping her head against Glen.

But it was clearly ineffective.

Glen was puzzled - why was Hermione bringing her head closer?

Usually when she did this, she was hinting...

Glen contemplated, then turned to kiss Hermione.

Critical hit.

The young witch's resilience weakened, causing dizziness and immobilization.

Glen nodded to himself - quite effective.

Hagrid continued rambling, Glen kept contemplating solutions to Hagrid's problem, and Hermione remained dazed - three people, three different states of mind. Quite an interesting scene.

The peaceful, interesting days passed slowly until finally, the end-of-year feast arrived. On this important day, the year-long competition for the House Cup would finally be decided.

Glen maintained his usual behavior, sitting beside Hermione and ignoring the Slytherins' resentful looks. But the snakes could do nothing - who told them to offend Glen at the start of term?

Though Glen hadn't pursued the matter and they'd all been won over by the young wizard's abilities... and looks, he simply didn't want to sit with them. Nothing could be done.

The Slytherin witches, and of course some wizards (?), watched Glen and Hermione's interactions at the Gryffindor table with gritted teeth and discontent. They were so angry - in their view, Glen only went to the lions' house because of them.

That bushy-haired lioness really lucked out!

Hermione was used to the snakes' envious glares, maintaining her proper demeanor elegantly. Let them look if they want - they're not getting Glen from me, don't even think about it!

As students gradually filled the Hall and their house tables, the Gryffindors seeing Glen there just shrugged, already used to it.

George Weasley and his brother Fred Weasley came over, wanting to ask Glen about his perspective on that night, but were blocked by the young witch.

She watched these two upperclassmen warily - though nice, they were famously mischievous. She always felt they had ulterior motives, just waiting for an unguarded moment to pull some prank.

Moreover, Glen was a Slytherin - who knew what tricks they might be planning?

Though they seemed to bear Glen no ill will, you could never be sure.

The Weasley twins, unnerved by the young witch's protective glare, smiled awkwardly and raised their hands in innocence.

They were truly just curious. Though their brother's assessment of Glen was very negative, they didn't trust little Ronnie's judgment.

From their perspective, this visually impaired Slytherin seemed quite well-behaved.

Small and quiet, always staying properly by Hermione's side, barely speaking - he looked quite pitiful.

Slytherins: dying of laughter

As more students arrived, the quiet Hall grew lively, especially the first years experiencing their first end-of-year feast. They eagerly anticipated the House Cup results, though the situation was clear - Slytherin led Gryffindor by over a hundred points.

But people still held out hope for a miracle.

Anyone would do - just end Slytherin's dominance!

How much longer would that huge Slytherin serpent banner hang behind the High Table at the end-of-year feast? Seven years running was enough!

Just then, two figures appeared, temporarily hushing the Hall's noise.

It was Harry and Ron, recently awakened after three days in the hospital wing.

The crowd erupted in fierce cheers, especially the Gryffindors welcoming their returning heroes.

George and Fred even stood on the table, whistling madly.

Walking slowly to the Gryffindor table, Harry and Ron kept straight faces, pretending not to notice the reaction to their arrival, but their barely suppressed smiles betrayed their mood.

Clearly, they knew their great deeds had spread.

One constantly abused by his aunt, uncle and cousin, the other ignored at home - this hero's welcome was obviously very enjoyable. Their steps grew even slower, hoping to savor the cheers longer.

Seeing Hermione resting her chin on her hand while watching them, Glen softly asked: "Do you envy them?"

Hermione withdrew her gaze and smiled: "It's fine."

Her attitude had clearly matured considerably.

Glen gently patted the young witch's head.
