His words I want to believe in, and even after being sure he might not mean them I still want to hold on to those words that badly.
I pushed him away, heart-shattering into pieces. "Don't try to joke with me," I cried out, my voice trembling. "My feelings are hurt, and I don't believe you are genuinely sorry."
He tried to calm me down, but I was having none of it. I screamed at him, my words pouring out in a torrent of anger and pain.
"I don't care about your apology! You already rejected me, so I don't care. I don't want you! I hate you! You've been nothing but a ruin in my life."
He grabbed my hands, trying to plead with me, but I refused to listen. I didn't care about the passersby or how I was using the wrong tone for my alpha. I just wanted him to leave me alone.
"I don't want you!" I yelled, trying to shake off his grip. "You've been nothing but a monster, disturbing my happy life."
This time I noticed how he pulled me roughly, the grip was becoming violent.
