I have been busy since morning, moving around the company to inspect the new building for sales and working on the sales report.
Despite my mind being preoccupied with the news about Olivia, I knew I had to work to earn a living. My parents had decided to take Olivia to the pack hospital today to do more check-ups because of the healer's words about it.
I had planned to meet with the alpha today and was prepared to do whatever it took to get his help.
However, something felt off today. Nobody was being rude to me, and everyone seemed to be minding their own business.
I had made sure to wash off the alpha's scent from me, but I couldn't shake the feeling that they were showing me an unusual courtesy.
