Leonhardt and Asuka perched at the edge of the embankment, leaning back. The flickering azure embers burned most of the surrounding forest.
"I never expected you to be so special, Leo!"
Asuka joked, while pushing against Leon's arm, her lips pressing together as she stroked his smooth skin.
"Special? I am just a monster… you know that now, right?"
"You're not a mon—"
Her words stopped midway because he blocked her soft lips with his rough fingertips.
He closed his eyes, realising that, even compared to Erina and Sylvie, or even the humans he called Inferior, it didn't change his origins—a monster couldn't become human.
'Nor do I wish to.'
