whilst Luca listens to me, he pulls me towards him and lays my head over his shoulder, "You are not stupid, Aletris." in a tender voice he claims, "You are just longing to be loved. Hoping to be loved by someone is not foolish, at all."
Trying to make me understand, he continues to elaborate, "We seek food when we are hungry; We seek shelter when we are weary; We seek companionship when we are lonely; And of course we seek love when we wish to be happy. It is nothing more than nature."
Gently he fondles my head. He carefully strokes his fingers down my hair like he pets a kitten, "You can come to me when you are seeking a shoulder to lend." he promises, "You don't have to be afraid, because I will never make fun of you."
As I listen to Luca, the clouds before my eyes gradually dismiss. The gloomy sky looks bright again, the clear blue sky looks as vibrant as it can be. When the wind breezes, it brings not only the aroma of the flora to us, but it sends away the tears in my eyes.
