"Aletris! Are you alright?"
Alarmed by my reaction, Oliver immediately leaves the table and comes to my side. Concerned he grabs my shoulders as he looks down at my lap. He starts to apologise, "I am so sorry, I did not mean to knock the mug off in your direction… Are you hurt, Aletris?"
While Oliver apologies, Isaac walks out of the barista counter and comes to my side too. Agilely he unbuckles the stripes at my back and removes my apron from me.
Being poured by boiling water is not an uncommon accident that happens to baristas, we have learned to prevent ourselves from injuries by reducing the contacts between our skins and the heating medium.
After Isaac places my soaked apron aside, he picks up a dry rug from the barista counter and returns to my side. Perhaps Isaac is feeling astounded too that he starts to stammer as he apologises, "I… I am sorry, Aletris… I…"
