"At least Oliver never tried to manipulate me…" in tears I accuse, "At least he never treated me violently and yelled at me like this!" in agitation I push Jullian away. As he falls a step backwards, his hands finally loosen from my shoulders.
Seizing my chance to claim my right over the choices in my life, I take a step up to him as I declare, "I can see for myself, I can tell how different he makes me feel, I can tell how much better he is than you!" and, "Even if Oliver really is not as good as I see him… You are not any better than you think you are, Jullian… You never deserved me, you never deserved anyone!"
Unfortunately, my statement seems to have exacerbated the indignation in Jullian. Abruptly, Jullian sharply pulls me over and flips around. Before I can react to the situation, he brutally presses my chest against the wall.
