She leaned closer, her eyes reflecting the flickering light of the monitor. "All these people. They worship you as if you were divine. A preacher who commands and heals, even the most broken and helpless." A hint of excitement laced her usually steady tone.

Wren gazed at the camera, which showed Jeremy, Hazel's husband, having an affair with her cousin. She looked at the pair of cheating bastards, and a smug expression formed on her face.
In her mind, she thought, "If Hazel was shocked by her husband's affair with her best friend, knowing he is also sleeping with her cousin, and a man at that, would make her completely helpless and vulnerable." How fun would that be?
