By the middle of the day, the tension inside the estate was transforming into something sharper, they were making their preparations.
The guards had set up new patrol routes, as they doubled their watch. Seo Ryung, Han-ju, and Ji Seol-Hwa were tasked to take charge of different areas. Traps were placed in the surrounding trees, they were meant to catch anything that dared to move in the night.
Meanwhile, Heuk Cheon was sitting leisurely on a rock, while sharpening his sword.
"Master, shouldn't you be helping?" Jin Mu had asked, while wiping a couple of sweat from his brow.
Heuk Cheon looked up at him, feigning surprise. "Helping?" He had gestured vaguely. "I am. Look how motivated you all are."
Jin Mu let out a sigh. "Unbelievable."
Seo Ryung, however, was only half-listening to their conversation. His senses had remained alert, he was scanning the trees, the wind, the very air around that surrounded them. The enemy was still watching. He could feel it.
