The next morning had arrived too soon.
Seo Ryung barely had any time to roll his shoulders and recover from the aches of yesterday's training before Heuk Cheon had already tossed him a wooden training sword.
"We will start again," his master had said simply.
Seo Ryung while taking a deep breath had gotten into his stance. There was no hesitation this time around.
And so the brutal training had continued.
By the middle of the day, Seo Ryung had finally collapsed onto the damp training grounds, his breath was ragged. Sweat was dripping down from one his brow, it was mixed with dirt and exhaustion.
Heuk Cheon, on the other hand, was looking completely unfazed. He had wiped his blade clean before turning around towards the courtyard's entrance.
The Murim Alliance guards had suddenly arrived.
Seo Ryung was watching as the Murim Alliance guard was handing his master a sealed letter.
Heuk Cheon's eyes were scanning its contents, the expression on his face was unreadable.
