"What do you think she'll survive?" A lady doctor asked her fellow nurse as she treated the lifeless body of a woman. Her lips were a mess as they parted in slits and one of her legs was also broken. Mona couldn't be recognized as her face was bruised miserably, further adding to her ordeal.
"She's still breathing…" The nurse chimed as they were now treating the right injury close to her stomach. She endured grave internal wounds. When the operation ended, the doctors left the OR, but none of them could guarantee when she would regain consciousness, not that Mona had anyone who was waiting for the news.
Since it was a hospital for convicts, ofcourse, daily visits of cops were usual. A certain cop was keeping tabs on Mona's reports and her whereabouts. One of his men was kept on guard to always have an eye over Mona.
