Mona pretended to be asleep as the man kept approaching her until he could feel her breath over her face. She jolted her eyes open to encounter a cop looking at her with concern. But it was too late, as her reflex kicked in, and she ended up landing a pretty hard blow close to his cheek.
"Arggg." He grunted and backed away while by now Mona was on her feet, ready for anything to throw at her.
"Who are you?" She asked, her tone holding authority while the cop just glared at her but nothing left his throat. He remained unfazed by her as he lazily took a seat on her bed after his condition improved a bit.
"Miss Liliana Taylor… You're being accused of the murder of your late husband, Mr. Walter Brown. Surrender at once, or else the consequences will be dire." The cop asserted as he got back to his feet. Soon, a few more officers came into the room with handcuffs dangling in their hands.
