Brian kept standing on the sidewalk as he contemplated his options. In the end, when the phone rang again for the umpteenth time, he took it out of his pocket. He decided to receive it even if it meant there was a chance it wouldn't end up good.
"Shit!" He cursed as he mistakenly rejected the call. To his dismay when he called back, he heard it was switched off. Just what the hell on earth happened? He tried for the second time and was welcomed with the same answer.
"I'm coming Vic…" He mumbled. Wasting no time, he got into his car and drove it off mercilessly. The wheelspin made the car eager to go sideways as he couldn't keep his mind in check. It got infected with intrusive thoughts of her; a million what-ifs.
Parking the car before her house, he even left the keys as he hurled out of the car; Dashing towards the house, he didn't even bother to ring the bell as he charged at one of the windows.
