Elysia rushed through the corridor, leaving her small side bag behind in the car. The men accompanying her ran after her as they were genuinely concerned about her safety.
"Mam be careful!" One of them exclaimed, noticing her almost losing her balance. But somehow, she managed to control herself and straight away asked the attendant about her daughter's whereabouts. But once they've seen her meeting with Frank, they knew their task was fulfilled.
"Miss… Where are you going?" Frank chimed in and stopped her path when she was about to reach Layla's room. She tried to free herself and pleaded with him, but Frank was not ready to budge.
"Please… This is some misunderstanding. Max called for me. My Layla is in there too. Please let me in sir… Please." Her voice wavered, but she wasn't ready to give herself away to the emotions yet.
