Chapter 83 - Gato’s Wealth And Ravens Influence

The moon hung high above the Land of Waves, casting silver light over the mist-covered village. Inside a secluded storage shed on the outskirts of the town, Raven Kamizuki and Mikoto Uchiha sat across from each other, a large spread of scrolls, documents, and valuables laid out between them. Gold bars, jewels, bundles of Ryo, and neatly stacked blackmail records and smuggling routes filled the cramped space. It was the spoils of Mikoto's flawless infiltration into Gato's estate—the wealth of a tyrant stripped bare in the night.

Raven's violet eyes glinted as she sifted through the documents, absorbing every detail like a sponge. She wasn't just reading numbers—she was studying the blueprint of a hidden empire, one that Gato had built through exploitation and fear.

"This," Raven murmured, her fingers trailing over a ledger detailing smuggling routes through the Land of Water's ports, "is worth more than all the gold you pulled from that rat's vault."

Mikoto smirked, leaning back with an air of satisfaction. "The wealth funds our growth—the information plants our roots."

Yuumi's voice flickered into Raven's mind telepathically, her tone amused. "Who knew robbing sleazy billionaires could feel so righteous?"

Raven chuckled internally but kept her expression focused. "Liberation tax, Yuumi. They pay for our future."

She looked over to Mikoto, her Yuri Eyes faintly glowing even in rest. The female symbol pulsed softly, a reminder of the faith fueling her strength.

"You did well," Raven said with genuine respect. "Your team exceeded expectations."

Mikoto's smile softened, but pride flickered beneath her calm exterior. "They're more than capable. Women who were discarded… but together, we've made them unstoppable."

Raven nodded, her thoughts drifting briefly to the larger vision—Uzu no Sato, the Village Hidden in the Whirlpools, built not just on power, but on unity and belief. Every coin, every document stolen tonight—it was another brick in their foundation.

Raven's eyes returned to the most important document—the contract ordering Zabuza and Haku's execution once the bridge was completed. It had already served its first purpose, sowing doubt in Haku's heart. But it was what the rest of the papers revealed that shifted Raven's mind completely.

"These routes," Raven tapped a map detailing Gato's shipping lines, "this is access. Arms, drugs, people… he moves everything. And he has corrupt officials in the Land of Water covering for him."

Mikoto's brow furrowed slightly, already sensing Raven's line of thinking. "You're not thinking of letting him live… are you?"

Raven leaned forward, her tone sharpening. "Not letting him live—owning him besides I always planned to control him he is of more use alive than dead but believe me Mikoto he will wish he was dead when I get ahold of him his punishment for his crimes shall be legendary.

Mikoto raised an eyebrow, intrigued.

"He's a snake, but he's a connected snake. We don't need his life—we need his network. If we control him, we control his routes, his contacts, his blackmail files. That kind of shadow influence would let Uzu no Sato spread beyond its borders without anyone knowing."

Mikoto's lips curled into a dangerous smile. "Turn the tyrant into our puppet."

"Exactly," Raven said. "Dead, he's just a corpse. Alive, he's our gateway into every nation's underbelly. We can funnel money into our village, arm our forces discreetly, and know what's happening before our enemies even blink."

Mikoto leaned forward, her Yuri Eyes flickering to life briefly as her excitement built. "It would accelerate everything. The infrastructure we need… the influence… It's dangerous, though. If he turns on us—"

"He won't." Raven's voice was cold. "Because he won't have the choice."

She gestured to the blackmail folder, thick with documents implicating Gato in kidnappings, assassinations, and extortion.

"We'll hold his leash so tight he won't breathe unless we let him. And if he gets ideas… we end him then."

Mikoto considered this, the weight of their future balancing in the air.

"Do you think Zabuza will accept this?" Mikoto asked. "He's not exactly a politician."

Raven's smirk returned, though her eyes were calculating. "Zabuza's a killer, but he's not stupid. He'll see the value. More importantly… he wants peace for Haku. That's his pressure point."

Mikoto nodded slowly, understanding all too well. "A father will do anything for his child."

There was a moment of shared understanding—both women knowing what it meant to protect those they loved, though their paths to this point had been vastly different.

Raven rolled the map up carefully, sealing it in a secure pouch. "This is what Uzu no Sato is going to be. Not just a place for the discarded, but a force in the shadows."

She stood, her presence commanding even in the dim light. "We won't just survive—we'll thrive. We'll grow our roots under their feet while they're still laughing at us."

Mikoto rose beside her, her Yuri Eyes glowing slightly brighter, the faith she felt in Raven—and in their cause—strengthening her chakra.

"We'll shape the future together," Mikoto said softly. "One gold bar at a time."

Raven chuckled, but her eyes burned with purpose.

"And it starts with Zabuza… and Gato."

Before they parted, Raven laid out the steps:

1. Recruit Zabuza and Haku officially during the next battle—orchestrate their defection mid-fight.

2. Capture Gato alive, ensuring he understands that his only future is under Uzu no Sato's control.

3. Use Gato's network to expand Uzu's wealth and influence, fueling both the Free Love Revolution and the village's military power.

Yuumi chimed in mentally, her tone playfully sarcastic.

"So… our glorious future is built on pizza, Yuri… and a scumbag merchant."

Raven grinned, her voice low but resolute. "Every empire needs its foundation besides who said he only gets to be a merchant I have other plans for the criminals I bring into my revolution ha ha.

Mikoto smirked, placing her hand on Raven's shoulder briefly, sharing a moment of camaraderie.

"This is our future Raven with me as the main wife!"

The mist whispered around them, but for the first time in the Land of Waves, Raven saw beyond the fog—toward the dawn of their revolution.

But after this statement from Mikoto. Raven suddenly had a bad feeling about her future harem she wondered if she would not become the one controlled by them eventually.
