Five months passed, and then ten months, those who were able to help us in any way with the information Anhur had died to tell Paley were contacted, including Dr Hawking who was most helpful when it came to theorising on blackholes. The intellectual community had to really rally around this, and we had to remain purposeful as the months rolled by.
When we felt we were making some headway with what we knew, it unfortunately fell flat due to miscalculations. Quite often our theorising, that appeared to look good initially, had the air taken out of its sails after further scrutiny. There were often periods where we felt quite exasperated.
Ten months of searching for answers turned into two years and two years turned in to seven.
As the years went by members of the team's frantic efforts to get to the truth started to dwindle somewhat. Despite travelling all over the country and to other parts of the globe we were still struggling to make a breakthrough in relation to Sagittarius A* and M87, the supermassive black holes that Anhur had told Paley are of importance for the unknown nonearthly species transport links.
People around the world had resumed their normal lives. There seemed to be no worry amongst nations that there would be another attack. The only way that the Anhurian 'invasion' still lived seven years on was through blogs and websites of avid followers of anything otherworldly. People in 'cult' like groups talked through wild theories on media platforms and online users would upload videos of unidentified flying objects, which usually ended up being a helium balloon or something of the like. With the hustle and bustle of life and the rat race of the Capitalist system people seemed too busy with putting food on their tables and clothes on their backs to worry about the possibility of another invasion. Many worked off the probability that it must be at least a few hundred if not thousands of years before we were due another invasion from something alien. A large chunk of the public was still firmly holding to the story that humans had shown their strength and fought off the Anhurians who had left, fearing for their lives. There seemed to be comfort for the masses in thinking humans were superior. This arrogant approach was advantageous on one hand as it meant that cities and nations did not descend into chaos, but on the other hand it did not help me and the team gain traction with our claims that there was going to be another attack, but an attack from a real threat this time. Humans could not simply shoot at this seemingly extremely intelligent and advanced species in a panic and expect to annihilate them.
Despite many people not wanting to believe that another alien species could invade at any moment there were some who reported seeing inexplicable phenomena within the seven-year period since the Anhurian's had landed.
In 1994 In Zimbabwe a group of school students reported that they had seen an alien craft land in a field close to their school and described tall pale translucent looking beings that glistened like diamonds in the sunlight emerged from the craft. The beings were too far away for the children to make out their faces, but all their accounts were very similar, and they were consistent about what they saw as time went on. I had travelled to Zimbabwe in 1994 along with Jen, Lava, Dr Derwent, and Kai. We all wanted to talk to those who had been there at the time of the sighting and to visit the field in question. Dr Derwent and Kai took samples of the grass and soil where the aliens had allegedly landed to see if we could learn anything new. The alien species the children were explaining were most definitely different from the Anhurians. And we needed to find out if these beings – if what the children saw was real- were the true threat, the heartless beings that knowingly sent thousands of Anhurians to their deaths.
We followed up on another reported UFO sighting in Brazil in 1996. There were multiple reports of people seeing strange creatures and craft that they swore the Brazilian military had something to do with. Officer Beckett, Agent Vox, and Agent Riley accompanied the rest of us, who had gone to Zimbabwe two years earlier for the Brazil visit. Beckett, Vox, Riley, and some of their colleagues helped us to secure a sit-down talk with members of the Brazilian Military to have a healthy discussion about the events that had – allegedly-taken place. We wanted to see if the military personnel would share any insight with us, even if the chances were slim. Unfortunately, the military were playing their cards very close to their chest and did not share much with us, just that they could confirm that their radars were picking up some strange signals and an unidentified craft that when they attempted to intercept at any point flew off at exponential speeds. Speeds that they had never seen any other craft fly before. They stated it was as if gravity was not an issue for the craft. As it was able to hover and drop hundreds of feet and then set off again at speed. Whereas a man-made craft could not hover like that and then gain that much speed in milliseconds. A man-made aeroplane would have to be travelling at a certain speed or have a certain momentum otherwise it would crash. We asked if we could have a copy of their radar footage or if they had taken any images from any of their aircraft that attempted to intercept the UFO, but we were told that those were confidential, and no member of the military could share those as they had all sign contracts never to share state secrets.
We did have more luck with talking to the four women who had seen the unidentified flying object and had seen a being coming from it. They described the being as the devil. A bright blinding devil that was tall and lanky and long limbed that stood upright like humans with two beady black eyes and a third eye in the centre of their forehead, a little higher than the other two eyes which looked like the purest singular diamonds they had ever seen. The women said they ran away screaming that they had seen the devil, running to tell close family members what they had witnessed.
The accounts from the Brazilian women seemed to offer more of a description of these beings faces than we had previously gathered from the children in Zimbabwe. However, despite the sightings being from differing vantage points the accounts from both 1994 and 1996 seemed to marry up, it appeared they were describing the same beings. The witnesses from both locations had stated that the beings they had seen were shimmering and translucent white, with overly long arms and two freakishly long legs. This was promising information. For the team, it felt these sightings were most probably legitimate sightings. Which we were simultaneously excited about and fearful of. As this meant, that the beings Anhur had mentioned, in small doses, were already visiting earth themselves.
The final sighting that was reported was in 1997 in Arizona in the United States. We all piled on to a private flight to make our way from England to the United States in the March of 1997. The incident was dubbed 'the lights over Phoenix' and hundreds of people stated they had witnessed seeing a series of lights in the sky that had taken on the formation of a V shape on the fateful night in question. We all stayed in America for three weeks, me, Kai, Jen, Officer Beckett, Dr Henry Derwent, Agent Riley, and Agent Vox. We would ring Paley and Adelaide every few days to keep them updated about our progress with tracking down people who had said they had witnessed the lights in the sky. We were all hoping that someone from the hundreds of witnesses might have seen what was inside the craft, if it had perhaps decided to land somewhere that evening, but that did not seem to be the case.
Once we returned to England from America, we initially went our separate ways to return to jobs, family commitments and check homes that had been left empty whilst we were away. After which we all met up at Paley and Adelaide's home. Adelaide and Paley had decided to buy another house together, once again in North Yorkshire, but in a town called Helmsley instead of a house with many acres of land in between farmers lands. They said they chose the town so that they could be part of a community but still enjoy the quiet life. We all agreed that it was a lovely quaint place. They showed us around the town square with novel small shops and a church. After our tour of the town, it was time to head back to Adelaide and Paley's residence.
I spoke with Adelaide for quite some time, and she shared that she had been working on several ventures and pass times in her new sleepy-town home, she was even as kind as to share one of her recently written poems with me entitled 'The Womxn'. Adelaide explained to me that the use of the 'x' was a way to avoid sexism and to appreciate indigenous and minority womxn.
The Womxn
Jaded and broken,
She taught,
Hated and underrated,
She fought,
Stigmatised and victimised,
She strived,
Fighting the tide,
Unwilling to hide,
From that which seemed to never subside,
The vile bile,
The mammy,
The sapphire,
The slave,
The racist tirade,
That which had yet to fade,
Strong and vulnerable she stood,
Speaking her truth like she should,
For those who no longer could,
Many more unnamed,
Many more shamed,
Many more blamed,
Whilst the white man remained untamed,
Whilst the white man had gained,
With the white woman by his side,
Trying to hide,
Feigning her aid,
Standing in the white feminist hall,
Wearing her deceiving shawl,
Dancing in the capitalist ball,
Watching others crawl,
Whilst she spouted out drawl,
Whilst her husband counted his illegal haul,
Using a brawl,
To stall,
To make others feel small,
To avoid what should befall,
Justice for all.
Once the pleasantries were out of the way with Paley and Adelaide and we had caught up on general life, it was time to talk about the matter in hand, the latest UFO sightings. Agent Riley and Agent Vox were not able to join us, as their other duties were deemed as more important by their superiors, and they had just been granted permission to accompany the rest of us to America for a few weeks, it was very touch and go in receiving their boss's approval for that trip alone. So, Vox and Riley had to be updated later about our trip to North Yorkshire and what was discussed there.
It was surprisingly warm in Helmsley for the end of March in England; the sun was proudly perched in the sky shining brightly and there was not a cloud in sight. We all made the most of the weather and decided to sit outside in Paley and Adelaide plush green garden. Every one of us made out way to sit down on their lovely set of garden furniture that was in the centre of their rather large back garden. We thought it would be safe to talk outside as their neighbours living on both sides were old and quite deaf from what Paley had told us, so if they were also enjoying the March sun, we were not in any danger of people eaves dropping. And their homes were not exactly squashed in like sardines, there seemed to be plenty of space between each residence. Plus, the events in Zimbabwe in 1994, in Brazil in 1996 and in Arizona in 1997, that we were there to talk about, were public knowledge.
After talking for a while, we could not seem to find a link between the events that had taken place in the locations we had visited, in terms of how often the beings were coming to earth or a certain season that they were landing we could not identify a pattern of any sorts. As the events that had been reported were not equal lengths apart and they had taken place in different months, January, March, and September we were at a loss to find a connection. The soil samples and anything else we could gather did not show any signs of any foreign substance. Which led us to believe these beings could come and go as they pleased and not leave a trace of their being there.
Once we all felt that we had thoroughly examined the events from all three UFO sightings Paley told us he had been squirrelled away in his office for month doing more research. He explained that if we were not gaining any more information from the present, we needed to look at the past.
"My dear friends," Paley began as he was explaining what he had been researching, "I have found information of interest in Native American history. Tribes such as the Hopi, Zuni, Cree, and Lakota tribes among others have provided me with interesting reading. And I would like to share it with you some of the key points I have taken from such tribes as well as other peoples across the world. I would like to hear your initial thoughts today."
"Let's hear it," Kai said.
"I'm all ears," Jen added.
"Well, I was researching online and came across artwork from the Barrier Canyon in America and pictures of Native American artwork on the canyon wall. It is estimated that these were drawn 9,000 to 5,000 years ago. The art shows almost human like images, but they are very elongated, much taller than humans. It is said that these pieces may represent spirit figures, but from the accounts we have received from recent years, it sounds as if these beings, with extremely long limbs and bodies could be those that are depicted on the Barrier Canyon. This intrigue led me to consider the history and teachings of Native American Tribes. For the Hopi tribe, alien visitors often referred to as star children are said to come down from the sky to teach humans. It is said that some of the DNA of the alien beings were mixed with human children, and that some have the knowledge and ability to heal the earth. The Hopi believe the earth is not balanced any longer, it is misaligned. It is said that the star children can help with realigning the earths' purpose and peace. They state there will be an arrival of a blue star. There is some mystery surrounding the blue star, but there is a belief that the blue star will come, and the alien beings will reveal themselves. Now I am not sure if this is reference to the beings that we do not know, or if this was a reference to Anhurs kind."
"It sounds like it could be Anhurians if we take it at face value with the reference to the colour 'blue'," Dr Derwent replied.
Paley nodded and continued, "The star people or alien beings, are seen as those who come from the cosmos who have taught humans about healing and medicine and are said to have brought maps of the universe to earth."
"So, they were here to help humans?" Jen asked.
"Well, what happened seven years ago doesn't seem to suggest that is the case Jen, not in recent history anyway," Beckett replied.
"Perhaps," Paley pondered, "It is said that there will be an end coming, due to human greed and mismanagement of the earth."
"So, these beings could have previously helped humans, but now they are turning on us?" Lava asked.
"They may wish to turn on us now but may have previously helped our species. It could be that these beings did not only visit Native American Tribes, but also other ancient civilizations such as the Egyptians. There could have been widespread extra-terrestrial influence on earth. It is said by some traditions that human civilisations, touched by an alien species have previously been wiped out with great floods. Some have predicted that there will be another great flood, near the millennium." Paley continued.
"As in the year 2000, as in just under three years' time!" Jen said with a slight panic in her voice.
"I am not sure," Paley admitted and continued talking about his research, "To return to my research, I have also found sources relating to Egypt. The Great Pyramid of Giza is said to be positioned on the earth is very intentional manner. It is said to be at the centre of the worlds land mass. Mathematicians have found information relating to the geo-metrics encoded into the Great Pyramids design, and it's believed that humans alone could not have construct this. The Great Pyramid is said to be related to certain longitudinal and latitude measurements of the earth and has been related to the speed of the travel of light. There appears to be information about the earth encoded into the Great Pyramid. So, if we believe, what is theorised, humans have been assisted in many ways by other worldly beings, with construction, the environment, science, and medicine," Paley paused.
"So, more spiritual, and advanced worlds have been aware of our existence for thousands of years? I asked.
"I think we have to believe that, yes," Paley replied.
"It is said that the 'Gods' lived amongst the Ancient Egyptians and then they disappeared. It is also said by some that we, human beings, must "die" to join the Gods again. It is theorised that we came about in our current form due to a deliberate manipulated of our DNA. It is also believed that some beings had an otherworldly appearance, with some inhabiting our planet and one time looking like an amalgamation of human and other animal parts. There is also something of worth to be said about interpretations of experts when studying the drawings from the ancient Egyptians, there is an idea of ancient pyramid texts and artwork showing a sun with wings descending from the sky, which could be a drawing of when extra-terrestrial life descended to earth."
"So, there seem to be similarities between accounts, that there are intellectual beings from other worlds, who have influenced human life in areas relating to knowledge and DNA?" Kai added.
Paley responded in a beat, "There do seem to be themes that have emerged throughout my research. There are also several very interesting archaeological finds I have been reading about, with some items being labelled as out of place artefacts. These are challenging mainstream archaeological timelines of human history."
"I can't believe I am asking this, and before the Anhurian landing, I would not have even entertained the thought, but could that mean that these beings have been here more times than we first anticipated, that they maybe lived here at one time?" Jen asked.
"When you all told me of the accounts from the Brazilian women, I spent a painstaking amount of time dissecting their testimonies. And the description of the clear diamond 'third eye' of the other worldly beings really stuck with me and left a niggling feeling in the back of my mind. The diamond reference reminded me of something and for a long time I was unable to put my finger on it. Then, I was able to make the link with what it was the reference to the diamond reminded me of."
"What? What is it?" Jen asked impatiently.
"We have time," I added.
"In 1946 after World War Two Admiral Richard Byrd headed an expedition, which included one of the objectives of investigated sites for potential military bases in Antarctica. He took planes under the South Pole and discovered that inside the earth, there was a lush green area where he saw a shimming rainbow city made of diamond like crystals. In his diary, found by his son after Byrd had died, Admiral Byrd wrote of meeting a being, and the being said they were disappointed with humans and their recent use of nuclear weapons."
"Why did he not share this at the time?" Jen asked.
"He would be called mad surely?" Beckett offered.
"It is said that he was told by the US Government that the information was classified, and he should not share any documents or first-hand accounts about the event with any member of the public," Paley responded.
"That would suggest governments have been suppressing information about nonearthly beings for some time," Kai added.
"Yes," Paley continued, "Governments do not appear to be very open. However, some are, like Peru, as the thought of something other worldly is somewhat engrained in their culture." Paley paused for a moment then continued, "I have found that from a lot of the historical accounts I have looked at, there is a theme of telepathy. Some of these accounts feel very familiar to me and what I experienced with Anhur. He did not speak to me as you and I would conventionally speak, it was telepathic. All these accounts that I have looked at have spoken of telepathy, a correlation I cannot ignore."
After taking a deep and meaningful breath Paley continued, "Anyway, on a different point, one account in particular that stands out from me is about the Son Doong cave in Vietnam. This is the largest cave in the world. There have been accounts of people seeing reptiles of some sort there, walking around upright like humans. These beings are said to be blue, with spikey backs and can move quickly."
"It sounds like Anhurians!" Jen shouted surprised.
"I thought you said they were all gone Paley, when your connection with them ended?" I asked quizzically.
"Yes, I thought that there would not be any Anhurians left on earth A.J. as I was under the impression they could not live here very long, in our atmosphere. I think we need to go there, all of us, to Vietnam," Paley explained.
"Paley, we are not young anymore, it is not a simple path to enter the cave," Adelaide added trying to make Paley think pragmatically.
"Yes, Adi you are right, but we can still do it, we just need to pay someone locally to help us with climbing equipment and a guide," Paley replied considerately to Adelaide's concern.
"All of us? I will have to get on the phone to Agent Vox and Agent Riley and see how quickly we can pull a timeline together," Beckett interjected, thinking of the logistics straight away.
"Paley, even if there are Anhurian's in Vietnam, how can we expect to talk to them? Surely, they will just try to kill us?" I asked, not sure if Paley could provide me with a solid answer.
"If there are Anhurians out there, we have to trust that they can become our allies," Paley replied.
"Well, we don't want to go in there with guns blazing then, as that won't get us anywhere," Jen said, "Make sure you tell that to Vox and Riley."
"Yes, yes, of course," Beckett replied.
"We need to make a suitable plan," Kai started, "I definitely do not want to go in there in a rushed manner, like we did back in the Taklamakan desert, China."
"I second that," Jen said before Kai could even finish saying China.
"Yes, I think we can all agree on that part," Dr Derwent added looking from Jen to Lava, evidentially remembering snapshots of the events in the unidentified skyscraper craft on that fateful day when many of Becketts fellow servicemen lost their lives saving the lives of Kai, Lava, Jen, and the others, including me.
"I agree, we need an airtight plan, I can't lose you again Immanuel," Adelaide admitted, "It was hard enough the first-time round."
"This is a completely different set of circumstances Adi my dear," Paley assured Adelaide, "We have been searching for answers for five years now, and we are nowhere near close to understanding the threat we face. All we have discovered, to work with so far, is a minuscule amount of information. We simply have a few alleged sightings of the beings that sent the Anhurians here to earth and some theorising on blockholes and nothing more. We must find a way to gain momentum, especially if the millennium proves to be an important milestone. I have let Anhur down once, I will not do it again."
We could all hear the emotion in Paley's voice, it was evident that he had spent a lot of time thinking about how he felt he had failed Anhur who had died trying to save his kind.
