In a forest, John's cabin.
"I'll miss this place," John said as he looked at the cabin he had lived in for many years.
He picked up the large briefcase beside him and swung it over his shoulder, bending his arm backward.
He walked towards northeast. His figure grew smaller and smaller as he moved away from the cabin, eventually disappearing into the distance.
Coter Village, Living House.
In an unknown dimension within the Living House, an endless ocean stretched in all directions, forming a boundless horizon. The sea was dark blue and bottomless. In its depths, countless creatures of horrific power and unfathomable size lurked in the cold darkness.
The ocean appeared calm, beautiful, and harmless—but in the law of the jungle, beauty was as dangerous as poison.
On certain parts of the sea, there existed a small island with a single towering coconut tree.
Beneath the tree sat a luxurious table, and at it, an otherworldly beauty—Ramisel, the Dark Elf John had encountered in Coter Village. She was the owner of the Living House.
At the moment, she was enjoying her coffee.
Sitting across from her was an even more elegant beauty, one more radiant than Ramisel. She had long golden hair, pinkish lips, fair skin, and a voluptuous figure. Behind her swayed nine fluffy golden tails tipped in white.
This golden-haired beauty was Yasaka—a Nine-Tailed Fox, a being of absolute power. Her true form, a Golden Nine-Tailed Fox, was the size of "???" and to her, the scale of all existence was no different than an atom. She could erase and create anything by merely thinking about it. Yet even with that power, she was not the strongest in the Chaos Project.
Ramisel sipped her coffee and smiled. "It's rare for you to visit me. Is there a problem back there?"
Yasaka stretched, revealing her curves. While doing so, she replied, "No, there's no problem. I just came here to escape the chaos. When his presence finally emerged, everyone got excited and started arguing about who'd meet him first."
Ramisel pictured the scene Yasaka described, and laughed at the mental image of countless beauties fighting one another.
"So that's why you're here?" Ramisel asked.
"More or less. That fight won't last long once those four intervene. My stay won't be long."
"Enjoy yourself then," Ramisel said, offering Yasaka's favorite drink—black coffee.
"How is he? Is he doing well?" Yasaka asked.
"You can feel him, can't you? So why ask?" Ramisel replied.
Yasaka smiled gently, her fingers caressing a black, ring-like tattoo on her finger. It had a beautiful pattern and was no ordinary tattoo. Even a Forbidden-level being feared its power. Among the countless women who bore it, it was known as the Crest of Eternal Love.
It was a symbol of their love for that man.
Seeing Yasaka smile, Ramisel couldn't help but glance at her own finger—bearing the same tattoo.
Silence fell between them.
"By the way, Ramisel, I'm curious—how many of your Talren counterparts accepted the proposal?" Yasaka asked.
'Talren' was the word used by all entities from the Chaos Project to describe Foreigners—beings not native to the Chaos Project.
"Aren't we all supposed to know that already?" Ramisel asked.
"It'd be boring to know everything, so I erased that part. Makes it more interesting," Yasaka answered.
"I think 80% accepted," Ramisel said.
"That's lower than I thought. Mine's at 100%," Yasaka replied proudly.
"Well, based on your personality, I'm not surprised your Talren counterparts agreed," Ramisel said.
"Speaking of Talren, did you hear the news?" Ramisel added.
"What news?" Yasaka asked curiously.
"Another world war is about to begin. The once-allies who faced the Evil Gods are now enemies," Ramisel said.
"Another extinction, huh? Who will it be this time—dragons or humans? What do you think, Ramisel?"
"Isn't it obvious? The dragons," Ramisel said.
"I thought so too," Yasaka replied.
The two beauties continued chatting nonchalantly, though their discussion topics stood in stark contrast to their relaxed, carefree demeanors.
In the forest…
John ran through the trees at incredible speed—Mach 25—dodging obstacles and avoiding monsters with practiced ease, moving like a dancer.
He was heading northeast. The exit in that direction was farther than the one near Coter Village, but he had his reasons.
If you used John's cabin as a point of reference: to the east, the forest's exit was 47 miles away, and 3 more miles led to Coter Village.
To the west, there was no exit. This forest was no ordinary forest.
It was enclosed in an invisible, undetectable barrier that acted like its own atmosphere. Only beings of immense power could see or touch it. From the outside, the forest spanned only hundreds of miles. But once inside, no matter how far you traveled, you would never reach its center.
This forest was known as an Endless Biomesphere—a mystical biome contained within an unknown barrier, understood only by the beings who had created it.
The true scale of the Endless Biomesphere was hidden. According to John's discoveries from decades of living there, the center housed a massive World Tree that stretched endlessly into the sky—literally. Even so, the tree never surpassed the barrier that shielded it. This barrier, created by the tree itself, made its destruction nearly impossible.
No one could traverse that distance between the barrier and the center of the forest without using teleportation capable of covering All Existence . Only a handful of beings could do that—literally countable on one finger. And the entities of the Chaos Project were not included.
Even if someone could reach it, destroying the World Tree was another matter entirely. Not even an omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent god could scratch it. Breaking even a twig was impossible. Only a Forbidden-level being could hope to destroy it.
To the north, the forest's exit was about 500 miles away. The south was the same as the west—no exit. Northeast led to a vast, rocky mountain range 70 miles away. The southeast exit was about a thousand miles, bordering the large town of Dragonof. The northwest and southwest were like the west—no exit.
To the southeast, east, and northeast lay the Dragonof Kingdom. To the north was the Orof Kingdom. Further north of Orof was the Rofa Empire—second most powerful nation in the world.
John chose the northeast. The nearest city from his cabin in that direction was only around 230 miles away. All other directions required at least 500 miles of travel.
In just 45 seconds, he reached the forest's edge and stepped through the barrier—leaving one of the eight Endless Biomespheres in the Old World.
Crossing the barrier felt like walking through water. For anyone below a all powerful god, the barrier would be undetectable—completely invisible and unfelt.
Now outside the forest, John stood before the Rocky Mountains of the northeast.
He paused, admiring the scenery. He watched the landscape for a while, then decided to walk instead of running at high speed.
With that decision made, he moved forward.
"If I remember right," John muttered, "the village chief said Dragonof wanted to open a road here leading to Forest."
Grinning, he picked up a twig and swung it like a sword.
A slash of sword energy shot out, towering over the Rocky Mountains.
In an instant, the entire mountain range was cleaved in half, carving a straight path leading out of the mountains.
