O Telefteos Elpis and Alya Contour stand in the wasteland of Aspen.
"What the hell do we do now?" O Telefteos asks.
"It should be obvious," Quintessence responds, "Find a way to go beyond the multiverse."
"And how the ever living FUCK are we supposed to do that?" O Telefteos yells.
"I-I don't think it's a time to complain." Alya says.
O Telefteos calms down, "Yeah, you're right..."
"Now," Quintessence says, "There is a spacecraft on the other side of Aspen, find it and get it working, all right?"
Alya and O Telefteos nod.
Then a legion of 10 Munts surround them and O Telefteos rolls his eyes. The Munts are of different shapes and sizes and their animalistic consciousnesses make them roar and growl at O Telefteos and Alya.
"Don't move, O Telefteos..." Alya says, "I've got this."
With that, Alya starts fighting the Munts 1v10 style and starts holding her own using her ear splitting scream cautiously to not hurt herself. It takes her a minute or two, and one of the Munts cut her slightly with toxic breath, before they are all put down and Alya is left panting, and drops to the ground. With a tap of his foot O Telefteos restores her energy.
"Thanks..." Alya says in gratitude—though she is still panting.
"No problem." O Telefteos says, "You did well."
"I did?" Alya asks.
"Yes that was quite the display of power." The Quintessence says in both Alya and O Telefteos's heads.
"Yes!" Alya said, a feeling of accomplishment washing over her.
"Now come on, we've still got work to do." O Telefteos says, proceeding to walk off.
Alya smiles, "He's not a bad guy it seems." she says in her head.
"I said come on, fucker!" O Telefteos yells.
"Oh, coming!" Alya hurries to get up and rushes to O Telefteos.
They walk for a long while, fighting Munts, destroying caves, and having a grand 'ol time. But then they stumble on a certain cave, they walk through it for a minute.
"I wonder what's in here." Alya says.
"..." O Telefteos says nothing as his hair has transformed itself into flames while keeping it's shape to light the way of the cave.
"Stay alert..." Quintessence says in their minds, its voice fading in and out.
"Okay now why the fuck would you just do that, now I don't feel safe." O Telefteos responds calmly with dry humor, "Like, am I gonna get touched is the diddler in this cave?"
"The who?" Alya asks.
"Don't worry about it." O Telefteos responds.
They continue walking for over a second until,
"What was that?!" Alya says startled as she saw something move swiftly and quickly in her pariphial vision.
She sees it again and, "Ah! There it goes again!" she yells.
It happens a third time and "OKAY NOW WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT?!" Alya shouts.
"Ow, your voice is hurting my ears." O Telefteos jokes in a dry and emotionless tone.
"NOW IS NOT THE TIME TO BE MAKING FUCKING JOKES, SOMETHING IS HERE!"
"Sorry..." O Telefteos says emotionless and apologetically.
Something swifts by once again making Alya startled while O Telefteos raises his right eyebrow with a side eye to the directionbof where the thing moved. They hear sounds and then slowly turn around and see... A little thing. It was short, cute, and cartoonish. A round head with a round body, two yellow feet with no toes and two penguin like arms along with two yellow oval eyes on its head. Its entire body was black besides its eyes and shoes.
"Noot, noot" The creature says.
"Is that black Kirby?" O Telefteos says.
"AAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!" Alya says startled and screaming.
"Oh, it's a Noot, never seen one in person before." Quintessence says in both O Telefteos and Alya's minds.
"A what now?" O Telefteos asks, confused.
"A Noot is a little creature tha—" Quintessence is cut off.
"Hold that thought." O Telefteos says as he turns to a screaming Alya, "Shut up, damn!" He shouts.
"My bad..." Alya says stopping her screaming.
"Now what were you saying?" O Telefteos asks the Quintessence.
"Noots are little creatures that wander Creation looking for a home. They can't stay in one place for long and migrate like birds as at different times of the year they will move to a different place in Creation as a collective." Quintessence answers, "Seeing one is rare since they move fast. You guys are really lucky."
"It seems this one got lost from the pack." O Telefteos says.
"Aww, it looks so cute now that I think about it!" Alya says as she proceeds to pick up the Noot and throw up in the air and catch it like a parent would with their child.
"Noot, Noot!" The Noot says in joy.
"What the hell is it even saying?" O Telefteos questions.
"I shall translate." Quintessence says in their minds.
"Okay then." O Telefteos says as he turns to the Noot until he thinks for a moment and says to the Quintessence, "Wait can't I just use Quintessence to—"
O Telefteos is cut off when the Quintessence says, "No, Noots don't have minds so they're useless in the intelligence department." It continues, "That and Noots are immune to almost anything, one of those being causality."
"What does that mean?" Alya asks.
"If you hit a Noot nine times out of ten the hit will land like a year before, have a two second delay, or just flat out never reach it." O Telefteos answers, "Basic cause and affect."
"I see, so you can't use power... And I seem to be lucky to even touch him right now." Alya says, "But wait can't you still bypass it if you have enough power?"
"Noots have more than just one thing they're immune too." Quintessence says.
"Oh." Alya says as she puts the Noot down, "Well, what's to your name, little guy?"
"Noot, noot, noot!" The Noot says which Quintessence translates to "I am Noota, nice to meet you!" The translation is in perfect sync with Noota as Quintessence knows what Noota will say before it even says it.
"Noot, noot." Noota says, "Noot, noot, noot!"
That itself was translated as, "I was separated from the other Noots after I found this cave. It was so dark, I couldn't see and got lost. Now I'm trying to find my way back to the other Noots."
"Aww, he's lost." Alya says with sympathy, "We gotta help him."
"Says who?" O Telefteos asks.
"Says me, bitch!" Alya exclaims.
"Wow, calm down now." O Telefteos responds with dry humor, "Those are fighting words that I didn't think someone like you would know."
O Telefteos then turns to Noota, "Alright, we can take the little guy," He says as he proceeds to head towards the exit, "but you're responsible for him."
"Yay!" Alya says as she picks up Noota and follows O Telefteos.
"Noot, noot?" Noota says which is translated to, "Wait, how do we get out of here this mountain is like a giant maze."
"I can see the exit with my..." O Telefteos says as he then strikes a pose, "Omni-Eye."
Alya and Noot have a blank expression on their faces, "Okay." and, "Noot." which is translated to "Okay." is what they say in unison.
The three find the exit of the cave and keep walking to the spacecraft. As their walking Alya and Noota are playing around.
"Noot, noot!" Noota says which is translated to, "Catch me if you can?"
Alya giggles in response, "Okay, I'll give you a three second head start."
She starts counting, "One... Tw—"
Noota then runs off beyond the concept of speed itself making Alya's jaw drop to the floor.
"So this is what she ment by "They move fast", huh?" O Telefteos says.
Noota then immediately comes back looking scared and shaken.
"What's wrong Noota?" Alya says, "Did you see something?"
Noota is about to respond but then a roar goes through the skies. A grand war echoing throughout Creation. Alya and O Telefteos look up and Noota turns around as they both see...
"A DRAGON!" Alya yells.
The dragon locks eyes on them as it speaks to them in perfect English, "Greetings, mortals," It says, "For I am the Dragon-Fiend!"
