Lucian stared at the coin with a flat expression. His fingers tapped on the table surface, creating a slow rhythm that reflected his disappointment.
He picked up the coin again, examining it under the light. There was no magical shine, no mysterious aura, nothing to suggest that this object held any value other than as old metal that could barely be used as currency.
He let out a long sigh, leaning back in his chair. "So did I just throw my ticket away for trash?"
The system, as usual, remained silent.
Lucian tossed the coin into the air before catching it back, trying to judge its weight. "If it's a game, there shouldn't be any items that are completely useless. But... What's the use of this?"
He tried to bite it a little—there was no taste of the typical metallic taste of gold or pure silver. "I can't believe I just did that," he murmured, a little disgusted with herself.
