The robed man walked at a leisurely pace, although his mind was still fixed on his brief encounter with the young man. He sighed, slipping both of his hands into his robe pockets.
As soon as he came out of the gloomy little alley, he paused for a moment in the blazing sun. The city air feels more open here, in contrast to the oppressive atmosphere he has just left. He leaned against the wall of a nearby building, looking up slightly to look up at the sky.
The dazzling light made him squint slightly. "It's so hot..."
He took a moment to breathe, letting his mind process the information he just got. For a moment, the wind blew softly, carrying dust from the rocky road in the capital.
"Really? Turns out they're calling him again this time," he murmured, his low voice almost drowning in the bustling activity of the city in the distance.
