The princesses and their mothers were left alone in the drawing room. The Queen and Grand Duchess left first, while the princesses were left standing in front of the door to the room.
"Is Captain Hugh always that strict during training?" Serina asked as they left, bringing up the training in the morning.
Aristia shrugged.
"That's so mean. How can he let yo— no, tell you to do that?" Serina asked dumbfoundedly, then her tone turned bewildered. "And how are you even able to keep up with his training? I can't even imagine going through that... that horror." Serina shivered. He showed no mercy at all.
"I'm more or less used to it. It's not as bad as it seems," Aristia explained with a chuckled. Serina said it like it was something evil. "Besides, I like that Captain Hugh is pushing my limits."
"Ugh! I will never understand you." Serina said.
Aristia exchanged glances with Beatrix and they both laughed.
"Anyone up for some snacks?" Aristia asked.
