Aurelia missed a step and stumbled forward, the basket tumbling to the ground and the wet clothes inside it spilling onto the ground, instantly getting covered in sand.
The other maids were taken aback by the sudden fall before they glared hard at her.
"What the hell? How could you miss your step when you had your head lowered the entire time!"
"Don't get so worked up. She dirtied them, it's only right that she washes them again. We'll leave once we're done with the clothes in our basket."
She hurriedly bent over, tossing the clothes back into the basket while bowing her head in apology.
"It's all my fault. Forgive me. I'll wash them again."
Hearing her, they didn't bother with her anymore returned their attention to Laziel Fox.
Standing by the door, the man watched Aurelia for a moment, his eyes devoid of any emotion before he strutted toward her, bent over and began helping with the dirty clothes.
