[Letter from Your Lovely Mother]
Blake's eyes widened in shock at the next notification. Suddenly, a woman surfaced in his mind—a breathtaking woman with long black hair and deep black eyes, bearing an uncanny resemblance to Lia, only older. At that moment, memories of the last time he had seen her flooded back, sending a shock down his body.
His heart pounded as he asked Sia.
"Sia... what is this? A letter from my mother?" His voice was laced with disbelief.
It had been nearly six years since he lost her. Six long years believing she was gone forever.
"I believe you should read it, Master," Sia replied, her tone unusually serious. "There are many things I've wanted to tell you… but I couldn't. However, this letter—this might finally bring you some clarity."
Her words only deepened his confusion. As far as he remembered, his mother had been a prodigy—brilliant, almost on par with Lia in talent. Yet she had always detested violence. She had stopped training entirely after reaching High-Class, preferring a peaceful life.
Blake took a deep breath, steadying himself.
"Open it, Sia."
Whatever was in that letter… he needed to know.
For the next period, Blake continued lying on his sister's lap and chatting with Sia and trying to understand what his mother told.
Meanwhile, Kanna continued flying at a moderate pace in the air. As the sun began to set, the clouds gradually turned yellow, and with the presence of the dragon and phoenix, the golden boy and jade girl's ethereal appearance, it looked magnificent.
Unfortunately, this scene was destined to be unseen by anyone else.
Kuoh Town, Blake's House
Rias, Akeno, Koneko, and Asia were all sitting anxiously on the sofas in the living room. Xenovia and Irina also looked restless.
Blake was their lifesaver, and they truly didn't want anything bad to happen to him.
In the morning, Blake left with Kanna, looking determined, and it had already been a day. They had no idea how he was doing far away.
[Creak————!]
Just then, a sound came from the front door, followed by it being pushed open. The girls all jumped up in surprise, their expressions filled with joy.
With the sound of footsteps, Blake, along with Lia and Kanna, appeared in front of them.
".....!"
Looking at Blake, Rias and the others first sighed in relief, then noticed the girl next to him, wearing a white long dress, resembling an goddess with an ethereal aura. They couldn't help but stare in astonishment.
In terms of appearance, none of the girls there were inferior to Lia, and each had their own attributes. However, Lia's temperament was so ethereal that it made them freeze in awe.
Rias was the noble princess, Akeno was the seductive S-type queen, Koneko was a cute, powerful silver-haired petite girl, Asia was a delicate golden-haired saint, Xenovia was a cute and bold girl, and Irina was a lively and energetic young girl, while Lia was like a etheral being, untainted by the world.
"She is Lia Silva, my only sister. You can just call her Lia."
Seeing the girls stunned, Blake rubbed his face and spoke, breaking the odd atmosphere.
Upon hearing this, Rias and Akeno woke up and exchanged nostalgic glances with Lia. It had been over two years since they last saw her. Lia's temperament had grown even more ethereal, leaving them in awe.
"Um, I am..."
Asia also looked at Lia with shy eyes, a little embarrassed. For the younger sister of the man she liked, it felt somewhat like meeting the parents.
"Asia Argento right ?... thank you for taking care of my useless brother."
Seeing Asia in this state, Lia smiled lightly, extended her hand to Asia, and spoke softly.
"Ah, yes!"
Upon hearing this, Asia was first stunned, then blushed and shook Lia's hand with an excited expression.
My dear sister, when was your brother ever useless?
As for Blake, he rolled his eyes and silently glared at Lia.
Then, Lia called out everyone's names one by one, introducing herself to each of them. This allowed Lia to nod in satisfaction. Though the exchange was brief, she had already observed each girl's character clearly, and there was no anomaly in her perception through her ancient arts.
Appearance, posture, temperament, and character were all top-notch, deserving to be one of her brother's harem, this was Lia's evaluation.
"I thought Lia's cold personality wouldn't blend in, but it seems I overthought it."
Watching his younger sister chatting and laughing with the girls, occasionally letting out a bell-like laugh, Blake muttered.
However, Blake didn't know that his sister was simply helping him review his potential harem members.
"Lia, it's been two years, and you've changed a lot. The feeling you gave me back then was like an cold and, unattainable. My invitation to become my Peerage member was rejected without hesitation."
Sitting on the sofa, Rias looked at Lia, who had successfully blended into the group of her peerage, crossed her legs, and spoke to her. Rias, along with the other girls, didn't ask about the events that happened at the family today but instead talked casually.
"It was just the situation that forced me. Who would want to wear a cold face?"
Upon hearing this, Lia's eyes, flickered slightly. She had met Rias and Akeno two years ago. Rias had of course invited her to be one of her peerage member, but being born into this cold family and as an heir to it, how could she have become Rias's peerage? It would have only brought trouble to Rias.
In the end, they only traveled together on the continent for a while, forming a bit of friendship. Later, she asked Rias to help take care of her brother, who was about to leave home. That Frost Whisper was also purchased at that time.
This is the cause and effect of everything...
