Liana's POV
A small groan slid past my lips, as I struggled to keep my eyes open. Pain seared up my legs, and as I writhed on the ground, I watched my life flash before my eyes. I had no idea where the shot had come, but whoever targeted it, had been aiming for my right leg, and surprisingly he got it in one trial.
Whether I should be impressed or not, I wasn't exactly sure, but I doubted that was the right thing to be thinking about right now.
My wound wasn't healing, and I was in the middle of nowhere.
Shit. I was screwed.
I lifted my eyes and immediately the warehouse came to view. Just a couple of moments ago, it looked so close I could almost touch it, but now, I couldn't help but feel like even if I was given the entire night to crawl there, I still wouldn't make it in time.
I would probably be dead in the next hour or so.
