The blue rose symbolises uniqueness, a way to show rarity and individuality—boldness.
Did he see me like that or was it just pretence?
Befuddled, before I could ask him anything, his phone rang, breaking this trance between us and diverting his attention.
Extracting it from his pocket, he cast a wary glance at the screen and his forehead wrinkled. He answered it and moved away on his long legs. Turning around he placed a hand on the speaker and mouthed out to me.
"I will be back at night. Get some rest." With that, he was gone, and I was left with my hand on my mouth, reeling in the aftertaste of his kiss.
Roshra joined me in the garden while I was still lost in the aftermath of what had gone down between Karsten and me.
Seeing my flushed cheeks, she teased.
"You have my brother wrapped around your fingers. He seemed quite smitten."
I offered a shy polite smile.
