Flabbergasted that he had read my mind, I lowered my eyes.
Was he perhaps a sorcerer who had escaped from some fantasy book?
"Umm…no but I should get going. What time is it?" I tried again to pull out of his stronghold but his arms didn't waver. There was an ache between my legs and I knew it wouldn't be easy to walk after how he had hammered me.
"What's the rush? It's Sunday…" he casually said. His deep voice appeared sleepy.
"Sunday? It's morning?" I tried to look around for a clock but found nothing except the faint blue light casting everything in its faint eerie glow.
"I am pretty sure, you slept for quite some time. Want me to order you some breakfast?" He casually offered, rubbing the bare part of my arm. The rough pad of his thumb felt soothing against my skin.
I wished I could see the emotions his face held. The desire to touch him rippled through me but I kept my hands to myself. It wasn't like I was going to meet him again.
