Before he can get it halfway open, the door is thrown open and a burst of air can be felt, followed by a loud BOOM as the heavy door that allowed him access to the cell is blown off its heavy hinges.
The lieutenant picks himself up out of the water and quickly runs back to his pirate gang. The whole gang stands there stunned as they don't know what just happened.
Still slightly confused himself, the lieutenant tells the crew that they need to get topside fast so they don't miss their opportunity to get off this sinking ship.
Quickly making it to the deck, the unit of pirates sneak and slide past the few navy sailors that are on deck. As they advance closer and closer to the escape rafts, they notice that the ship's deck is empty.
As the lieutenant ponders this question quietly to himself, one of his subordinates taps him on his shoulder to let him know that that is because all of the sailors are surrounding them.
The lieutenant, noticing this is true, stands to his feet, encouraging his fellow pirates to do the same. The captain of the ship walks through the crowd of laughing navy men.
"I applaud your foolish efforts of escape, but sadly this is where it, and your lives end. But damn good try!" the captain laughs, encouraging the laughter of his crewmen.
As the sailors laugh at the measly water bandits, the pirates grow disheartened, and the lieutenant even regrets all of his life decisions up to this point.
Thinking that they might as well go down fighting, the lieutenant tries his best to rejuvenate the will of his gang so that they at least die as brave, free men.
Then suddenly, a sanction band falls onto the deck, followed by another and another.
Cordayl descends onto the ship's deck as gracefully as a feather, and silence takes over the ship.
Cordayl calmly walks past the pirates, dropping the last sanction band, and stands out in front of them. Letting each navy sailor see that he is free.
And Angry.
The pirates, feeling the momentum swing heavily in their direction, get a wave of confidence and bulk up, ready to fight the whole damn sea.
There is brutal tension as the navy sailors aren't sure this fight will be won so easily now, if at all. They remember the damage this monster was doing even without his hands.
The Captain steps in front of Cordayl, unafraid of this child and sneers right at him.
The Captain spits on the deck, "I know that if I hear one more heart drop, I'll kill you all myself. Pitiful, you men are going to let the sight of one meager punk scare you shitle-"
The Captain never gets the chance to finish his sentence as Cordayl hits him so hard the Captain's body flies off of the ship, ripping straight through the metal railings and leaving him skidding across the ocean surface.
Every soldier on the ship's deck, including the pirates, have their jaws dropped down to their abdomens at the sight of such a hulking man skipped across the water like a rock. With one hit from a man half his size.
The lieutenant, seeing this opportunity as the exact one they need right now, and runs full speed towards the destroyed edge, and jumps overboard, diving for the salty freedom of the sea.
His pirate crew gets the memo and takes off to join their new leader in his freedom swim. The marines, still shocked at the apparent death of their Captain, just follow with their eyes as they watch the pirates escape.
The Captain finally stops skipping across the ocean when he crash lands into a deserted island.
Broken and badly injured, he drags himself to his knees, breathing very hard with just the effort alone.
Knowing that this fight is about to be one of a kind, he opens his shirt and punches a button on his chest.
Reaching into his chest, the Captain pulls out a small vile of an unknown substance out of a treasure chest tattoo. Opening the glass, he drinks the whole concoction and grits as it burns his broken and bleeding body, simultaneously healing it.
As the medicine takes its cooling effect, the Captain looks around at his surroundings and notices the island he is on. Looking out at his entry point, he sees his battleship far out in the distance.
Grinding his teeth, the thought of him getting knocked so far across the ocean with a single punch angers him beyond words.
Suddenly a shadow from behind him blocks the sun that has been scorching his back. Whipping around, throwing a heavy back fist, the Captain hits no one.
He knows what he saw and felt as he scans the forest behind him. Seeing nothing, he turns around and sees Cordayl staring right at him.
The Captain throws a punch, and Cordayl throws his own to counter attack. As an explosion goes off, the Captain is thrown back and comes to a skidding stop, seeming unaffected by the young lad's punch.
As the smoke settles, the Captain sees that the boy didn't move at all. He seems angrier as he looks at the cold eyes staring back at him through the smoke of his explosive punch.
"You're pretty strong for an old man. Let's see how you do without any of that knockout gas," Cordayl states in unison with the voice as he glares at the ship captain.
The Captain smirks as he hears Cordayl's confident tone. "Cocky little shit, aren't you? Well, that's alright. The spirited ones are the best ones to break," The Captain takes his jacket off, revealing the torso of a body builder.
Even though the Captain is of old age, he still remains the strongest in the navy. As his jacket hits the ground, the Captain's back has a variety of tattoos on it, with the most notable being 'Bomb Voyage' with a number of bombs going off around the slogan.
The tension raises to its highest levels as both opponents stare the other down, a dark aura clashing against a red one. Then they tear the ground apart as they race toward each other and clash in the center, fighting each other with all their might.
Each of their blows sending tremendous amounts of pressure and wind throughout the island.
As the fighting gets serious, the Captain's punches start to explode on contact as their impact increases. Cordayl isn't phased too much by this special effect, though.
The Captain notices he isn't winning this fight. To throw the odds in his favor, the Captain throws an unexpected sleep agent at Cordayl's face.
Cordayl sees this a little too late and activates his gravity magnifier to stop the agent from hitting him fully in the face as he evades the bomb. The smoke grenade detonates around his chest as he jumps away, but he still ends up inhaling some of the gas.
The Captain doesn't let up as he continues to lay on his onslaught against Cordayl. Cordayl dodges most of the Captain's punches, but as the toxins take what little effect they can, Cordayl's defenses slip a little bit, and he finds himself taking unnecessary blows as he takes a big, explosive punch to the chest.
"Bomb boy is beating yo ass." the voice reminds him.
"Shut up!" Cordayl yells, growing angry and readjusting his strategy. Increasing the gravity, Cordayl evades the Captain's punches with growing ease and lets the sailor tire himself out.
The Captain is resilient, though, not letting up any as he continues his onslaught.
The whole time Cordayl is fighting, the voice just keeps complaining about Cordayl's stupid strategy. "Honestly, I'm tempted to start throwing singles all this dancing you're doing out here. Just end it!" The voice yells, getting angry with Cordayl.
Cordayl's frustration paramounts as he ducks an upcoming punch from the Captain and responds with an uppercut that rockets the captain vertically into the air.
Cordayl tries to control his breathing as his anger is growing unstable.
"Shut. The hell. Up!" Cordayl shouts in his head, trying to calm himself down.
The voice chuckles. "Above you."
The Captain comes crashing down heavily with both fists on Cordayl's head, setting off a massive explosion, blasting away all the trees in the nearby area.
As the smoke clears, the Captain is still in the same stance. Cordayl has caught both of the captain's hands and starts to squeeze the Captain's fist. Slowly and painfully, crushing the bones in them.
The Captain tries to ignore the pain as he fights to free himself from the tight grip, but as the young devil looks at him, he just continues to break more and more bones, crushing his hands like empty soda cans.
The Captain, at first reluctant, screams as the pain becomes unbearable. But still finds Cordayl unwilling to release his grip on him. Screaming, the Captain unloads a noncontact explosion to separate him and Cordayl.
The Captain is kicked out of the smoke cloud. Catches himself, he skids to a stop across from Cordayl. Pain forcing him to look down, horror flashes across his face.
The smoke evaporates, and Cordayl is seen, still holding dead tight to the Captain's hands.
A look of hatred is drawn on the Captain's face as he shouts, pushing himself to continue to fight.
Cordayl immediately knees him in the face. The Captain starts to fly backward due to the impact, but immediately, Cordayl is behind him, hitting him with a nasty axe kick that sends his skull spiking into the sand.
With only the Captain's lower body sticking out, Cordayl grabs his leg and tosses him across the island
The captain lands roughly on the sand. Broken and beaten, he breathes hard as his heart starts to race, hearing Cordayl walk towards him.
The pressure increases, and the Captain suddenly feels himself sinking into the sand. Deeper and deeper until half his body is buried. The button on his chest is pushed down a second time due to the gravity, flashing to indicate urgency.
Cordayl grabs and holds him up so they can look each other in the eye. "First a crime boss, then a dragon, and now the navy. Who is it that is after me?" Cordayl ask.
Feeling his body being stretched apart, the Captain answers. "Just end it already, but I'd watch my back if I were you, Melatonin."
Sighing, Cordayl cancels the gravity and drops the Captain. "Thanks for the advice."
Breathing heavily, before Cordayl can walk too far away, the captain shouts, "You think you've spared me? Stupid boy. Before the first punch was ever thrown, I had a bomb locked on to this location. It should be here any minute now."
Cordayl picks up a coconut and turns around sitting next to the defeated Captain.
"You're the stupid one. You only get one chance to kill a Melatonin warrior. The same attack never works twice. Here it comes," Cordayl points to the sky as a big ass bomb is seen descending onto the captain's location
The pirates who escaped from the ship earlier in the episode have finally swam to the island, securing their freedom. As they rejoice, cheer, and plant a pirate flag on the island, the lieutenant rejoices with his men in pure bliss.
As they enjoy the smell of the island, one of the pirates asks, "What is that!"
The pirates all look up in unison as their hearts drop out the soles of their feet, seeing a giant bomb slowly descend from the clouds towards the islands.
The lieutenant is dumbfounded at the size of this missile and takes his hat off in amazement.
"Well, it's been an honor to pirate with you sleazeballs," he says to no one, as his crew has all run back to swim away from the island as quickly as possible.
"You boys make me proud," The lieutenant says as he quickly races to catch up with his men.
The bomb touches the first leaf of a tree and envelops the whole island in a flash. All the sailors on the battleship watch in horror as the mushroom cloud sprouts and they yell in terror as the winds of the gigantic bomb force their ship to capsize in the ocean.
At the conclusion of the explosion, the only thing left is Cordayl, who is unconsciously floating in the ocean, drifting to an unknown destination.
