A bus came into the capital and stopped at a bus station. All the passengers came down one by one but a particular woman stayed in the bus. The driver was puzzled, 'ma'am, are you not getting off?'.
The woman sighed, 'sorry sir. It's just that I don't even know where to go. I don't have any family members, I don't even know anyone in this big city'.
The driver was puzzled, 'If you don't have any family members then where are you coming from'.
'Honestly sir, I don't know. I don't remember anything sir'.
'Well ma'am, I am really sorry but I don't think I can help you. You need to get off the bus'.
The woman sighed and got off the bus, 'I don't even remember my name. What do I do?'.
Just as the woman was leaving the station, someone called out to her. 'Auntie!'. The woman was puzzled, 'does she know me?'.
A young girl came out of her car and ran to hug the woman. At long last, I finally found you!'.
'Excuse me, do I know you?'.
'It's okay auntie. It's been many years now. You probably don't remember me. I doubt you will recognize your own daughter'.
'Huh? I have a daughter? Young lady, you must really know me well. Can you help me? I really don't remember anything about myself. Not even my own name'.
The young lady, Kaira, was shocked. 'You really don't remember anything auntie?'. The woman shook her head which made Kaira confused.
'Something is wrong here'.

Isabelle finally woke up which made Alex relieved. He immediately took care of her and fed her. Isabelle felt weak and she just allowed Alex to feed her.
'Rhea my dear, are you okay? We were so worried about you my dear, you just fainted suddenly. I even thought you were pregnant'.
Isabelle choked on the water she was drinking, her mother in-law really just says anything she wants to.
Levi hold the urge to laugh as Alex's face turned sour. 'Thank you for your concern mother in-law. I so sorry for the trouble everyone.
'What do you mean by trouble my dear? It was no trouble at all my dear especially since it was your husband that carried you'.
Rhea felt puzzled. Alex couldn't walk so how could he have carried her?.
'He carried me?'.
'What madam meant was that the boss ensured that you were carried properly so that also means that the boss carried you right?'.
Isabelle nodded to the explanation, that seems more convincing. 'By the way mom, when are you leaving?'.
'You!! I can't believe you're throwing me out already. Alright, let me give you the good news.
I am ,leaving soon but Olivia will remain here . There is also a bad news, Nanny B is coming tomorrow because the old man has told her to personally invite you both to the old house'.
Alex sighed, the old man calling for the both of them does not sound good at all. 'Alright mom, we've heard'.
Isabelle was confused, 'who is the old man?'.
'It's my grandfather, he wants us to come to his house'.
'Alright, I will go and pack my bags now'. Charlotte left the room to go and pack her bags, Levi also left as he had some work. Things got quite awkward in the room, it was really uncomfortable for Isabelle so she thought of making up some excuse to get out of the situation.
'Thank you for taking care of me'.
'It was nothing. Even If this marriage is not real, as long as you are here with me, I will definitely make sure nothing bad happens to you'.
Those words may sound comforting but that was not what Isabelle wanted to hear at the moment. "Did he have to say it that way".
'I just noticed that this might be your room. I've never been here before'.
'Yes, this is my room. I couldn't think of anywhere else and it would it be rude to enter your room'.
'Why would it be rude? We're married right?'.
Alex became silent, he couldn't say anything.
'You should take a shower, I will excuse you. When you're done, please come downstairs, we have to talk'.
Isabelle watched as he wheeled himself out. She threw a pillow at the door after he left. 'So mean. Why did he have to say all that?'. Isabelle stood up to freshen up.
Alex got to the living room and met his mom and Levi whispering about something.
'What are you both whispering about?'.
'It's nothing son. Why are you here so soon?, you should have stayed with Rhea for a bit'.
'She needs to freshen up. I need to talk to you Levi'.
Levi followed Alex to his study while charlotte got curious, 'I wonder what he is thinking right now'.
Alex told Levi everything that happened in the room. Levi stared at Alex in amazement. 'You know boss, I really don't know what to say to you. Why do you have to say it that way'.
'I was just being truthful. What should I have said then?'.
'Of course she would get angry that you said something like that. Why did you have to mention that your marriage was fake'.
Alex looked at Levi confusedly, 'what should I have said then?'.
Isabelle was in the bathroom and was preparing to wash up. She wanted to get a bathrobe when she stumbled across a door. It wasn't like any other door she'd seen. Isabelle got curious, 'Is this why he prohibited me from coming to his room? I probably shouldn't go inside right?'
Alex was having a conversation with Levi in his study when he suddenly thought of something. 'Oh no!'.
'What's wrong boss?'
'That room! What if Rhea goes inside?'.
'What do we do if she sees.....'. Just then, a maid came to knock on the door.
'Mr Alex, the lady boss is done with her bath and would like to talk to you'.
Alex felt nervous, 'do you think she saw it?'.
'You should go and meet her just to be sure'.
Alex nodded and went to meet Isabelle, he observed her from a distance, she had a neutral expression on. 'That doesn't seem right'.
