Chapter 159 - Chapter 158: Sir, Times Have Changed

Ignoring the curses from the remaining five members of the Sinister Six, Punisher-Spider once again closed in, launching a new wave of attacks.

This time, having witnessed what happened to Electro, the remaining five grew wary.

They had fought Punisher-Spider before.

Just as they knew him, he knew them just as well.

If he had figured out a way to kill Electro, then chances were he had already planned how to take them down too!

Life only comes once—no one was willing to gamble with it.

But Punisher-Spider had no such concerns.

Darting left and right, he weaved between the five criminals with ease, showcasing his agility as Spider-Man to the fullest.

The five hesitated, unwilling to engage him head-on out of caution.

For the moment, both sides were locked in a stalemate.

But as a Punisher, once he had made his move, he had no intention of letting these scum live another moment longer.

At a precise moment, he struck again—this time targeting the only ordinary human among them: Mysterio!

Mysterio always acted mysteriously, but in reality, his main weapons were neurotoxins and hypnotic speech.

After multiple encounters, Punisher-Spider had already seen through his tricks.

To counter him, he had modified his Punisher-Spider suit, incorporating multiple layers of filtration—effectively turning it into a gas mask.

However, since the suit was thin, this function had a limited duration.

Earlier, he had prioritized eliminating the bigger threat first.

Now that Electro was dead and the group was on high alert, it made sense to pick off the weakest one next.

Without hesitation, Punisher-Spider swung his fist and smashed it into Mysterio's fishbowl helmet.

Boom!

A mere glass dome was no match for a punch packing nearly 20 tons of force.

A headless corpse collapsed to the ground.

Mysterio—dead.

"You—!" Vulture, who was about to attack Punisher-Spider, recoiled in shock, his body freezing in midair.

"Hey!" Punisher-Spider had no intention of letting him go—both their movements were well within his calculations!

He extended his hand, shooting a web that splattered across Vulture's face before yanking it back with force.

Vulture snapped back to reality, flapping his wings desperately to resist the pull.

But compared to Punisher-Spider, his strength was laughable.

With barely any struggle, he was dragged straight into Punisher-Spider's grasp.

Punisher-Spider sneered, reaching out and seizing one of Vulture's wings.

Then, he ripped.

Tear!

The wing was torn clean off!

Blood sprayed into the air like a crimson fountain.

"Aaaahhh!" Vulture let out an agonizing scream—the pain of having his wing ripped away was enough to push him to the brink of unconsciousness.

"Let him go!" At that moment, Doctor Octopus finally stepped up as the leader.

He charged forward, swinging his four mechanical arms, attacking from all directions.

Punisher-Spider, however, paid him no mind.

Tossing Vulture's severed wing aside, he delivered another punch—this time, straight to Vulture's chest.

Crack!

With a sickening crunch, the bones around Vulture's heart caved in. His chest collapsed inward, and from his back, a bulge pushed outward—the bones and internal organs within had been utterly shattered, mashed into an unrecognizable pulp.

Vulture—dead.

At that moment, Doctor Octopus's mechanical arms finally reached him.

But all they caught was Vulture's lifeless corpse, flung toward them by Punisher-Spider.

Doctor Octopus is Also a Ruthless Predator

To prevent the Vulture's corpse from getting in the way, Doctor Octopus casually grabbed it and tore it in half before continuing his attack on the Punisher Spider.

By that time, however, the Punisher Spider had already slipped away, heading toward his next target—

Kraven the Hunter!

The consecutive deaths of Electro, Mysterio, and Vulture had drained Kraven of his fighting spirit. He was already preparing to flee.

But the Punisher Spider wasn't about to let him go.

Kraven possessed an ability similar to Spider-Sense, known as Beast Instinct—an intuition honed through years of battling wild animals.

Now, that very instinct screamed of imminent death, filling Kraven with terror.

With all his might, he lunged forward, leaping several meters away—

Boom!

A high-explosive bullet struck the spot where he had just stood, leaving a massive crater in the ground.

If not for that sudden leap, the bullet would have blown his head apart!

"I—I was wrong! Please don't kill me! I swear I'll change my ways!" Kraven the Hunter shamelessly dropped to his knees, begging for mercy.

The Punisher Spider merely raised his wrist, his expression cold and unyielding.

Bang!

Another bullet fired.

"Damn it!" Kraven cursed under his breath as he dodged to the side, simultaneously launching several poisoned darts from his hand.

His plan had been to lower the Punisher Spider's guard before launching a counterattack. But something was different today—this Spider-Man was acting completely out of character. He used to wound his enemies; now, he was outright killing them.

Is no one going to stop him? (insert jpg)

Despite his complaints, Kraven's body didn't hesitate for even a second.

Against an enemy who could take his life at any moment, his nerves were stretched to the limit.

The scene unfolding before him reminded him of his very first battle with a wild beast.

Adrenaline surged through his veins, his face flushing red with excitement.

And in that moment, a realization struck him—

This was it.

The greatest hunt of his entire life.

"Come on, then!"

Kraven the Hunter suddenly rose to his feet, drawing a dagger from his boot. He was no longer running—he was issuing a suicidal duel challenge to the Punisher Spider.

The Punisher Spider gave him an indifferent glance and stood still, as if genuinely accepting the challenge.

From afar, Doctor Octopus and Sandman exchanged looks, then quietly moved in from both sides, closing in.

"Well done, Kraven!" Doctor Octopus secretly applauded, thinking this was all part of Kraven's strategy.

After all, Kraven was a master of traps, using them to take down creatures far stronger than himself.

But this time, they had all miscalculated.

"Kill!"

Kraven roared as he leaped toward the Punisher Spider, slashing with his dagger.

He had once traveled to an ancient Eastern land to study swordsmanship. There, he had learned of a state called oneness with the sword.

Now, his mind, body, and spirit merged into one—he felt as if he had reached that legendary state where nothing could withstand his blade!

He was invincible!

Yet, just as his deadly strike approached—

The Punisher Spider simply lifted his hand.

Click.

A dark, hollow gun barrel emerged from his web-shooter.

Bang!

A bullet fired.

A black hole appeared in the center of Kraven's forehead. Blood began to flow.

Even as he fell, his face was frozen in shock—

As if questioning why the Punisher Spider wasn't following the script.

The Punisher Spider merely glanced at Kraven's lifeless body, then coldly uttered—

"Times have changed."
