Aurora thought she was overthinking—until one evening when Olivia sat beside her, her expression clouded with worry.
"Aurora," Olivia murmured, brushing a stray hair from Aurora's forehead. "Alex has been avoiding us."
Aurora, though unable to respond, felt her chest tighten.
"He was always distant, but now... it's different," Olivia continued.
"At first, I thought he was just busy, but even when I try to contact him, he only responds with vague answers."
Silence filled the room.
