Telets didn't think that Pala and Nate should be taking so long. It had been a day, or so, he thought.
He looked at the black barrier which surrounded the Cuddle Pile, as everyone had been calling it.
It let no one see what was happening in it, nor did it give hints by letting any sounds out.
But Telets was old enough, and had walked in on more than one guild mate, besides, to know what was happening in that barrier.
He looked at the corridor where Pala and Nate had disappeared.
He had more important things to do than to worry about whether Pan was going to be able to walk when the four reemerged.
He still sighed.
Man, Pan was his favorite parent. And yet, he knew that the man was probably the center of the… mating ball.
"Hey," Roy clapped him on the shoulder, sitting by him. "I was just teasing back there, you know?"
The man offered him a weak smile. Telets had never been the petty type. Still… Roy had walked into that one.
