Chapter 108- Silence is golden… but not for Naomi
Tyler's POV
"Tyler, don't tell me you're really going to walk up to him and tell him what I said."
Naomi's voice was sharp with panic as she rushed after me.
I didn't bother stopping. I didn't even look at her.
"I guess you're not blind," I said, still striding forward. "You see me walking toward him, and you're still asking that same question?"
"Tyler, please don't go," she begged. "You know what he's going to do to me if you tell him. Please, just save me and don't go. I don't want any more punishments!"
I kept walking.
Maybe if she learned to keep her mouth shut, she wouldn't always find herself in these situations.
"Maybe this will teach you a lesson," I said. "Maybe after this, you'll finally learn to keep your opinions to yourself instead of accusing innocent people of things that aren't true."
Naomi groaned behind me. "Tyler, come on—"
