That morning, before any of her vampire fiancés woke up, Odel took a taxi and went to the hospital. She was so worried after hearing that Adrian was in critical condition, so she decided to visit him.
Meanwhile, at the hospital, Adrian slowly woke up and saw his father sitting on the sofa beside his bed. He sat up, looking at his father, who also realized that his son was awake.
"Do you need to go to the bathroom?" Damien asked.
"Nope. "Where's Celeste?" Adrian asked while looking around for his sister.
"She went home with your mother."
"I see… That's how it should be. Poor her, she had to stay with me last night," Adrian murmured, then leaned back against the pillow. His body still felt tired, but at least the pain in his back had lessened significantly.
Damien observed his son with a calm expression before saying, "The doctor said you just need a few more days of rest before you can go home. Try not to move too much."
Adrian nodded, not intending to argue.
