Sitting in the dining room, enjoying the pasta made by Emilio, Odel suddenly received a confession of love. The vampire man suddenly expressed his feelings for Odel without hesitation. However, Odel's reaction was quite indifferent. She merely stared at Emilio expressionlessly before taking another bite of her pasta. She chewed slowly, as if Emilio's words meant nothing.
"Don't say love if you don't actually know what love is," she said calmly, without looking at Emilio.
Emilio fell silent for a moment, then let out a small laugh. "Ah, you're right. "I don't actually know what love is," he admitted, his gaze still fixed on Odel. "But what I do know is that I find you attractive."
Odel set down her fork, meeting Emilio's eyes sharply. "It could just be because I have special blood. That would always attract vampires like you, wouldn't it?"
Emilio didn't answer immediately. His smile remained, but this time, it was thinner. "That makes sense, but I don't think that's the reason."
