When Odel's three vampire fiancés watched warily, her class teacher, Lennox, reacted differently.
"I didn't expect you to care so much about me, Odel!" he said.
The man slightly loosened the bandage on his arm, revealing a wound he had deliberately covered.
"I fell yesterday and scraped my elbow. "I don't like seeing blood, so I covered it like this!" he explained.
From a distance, Clayton shook his head—a clear sign that the man in front of them wasn't the disguised vampire they were looking for.
"Ah, I see. You should just keep it covered. "I'm not a fan of looking at open wounds either," Odel replied.
Lennox smiled, then gazed at Odel with a slightly playful expression.
"What if we go on a date this weekend?" he suggested.
Odel was shocked—but not as shocked as the three vampire men standing about three meters away, attentively watching her.
"Did you hear that?" Daffin whispered.
"Shh! "Be quiet, I want to hear what Odel says," Clayton whispered back.
