A kiss landed on her lips so quickly that she couldn't even resist. The very person she wanted to smack disappeared into a swirl of black mist just as Emilio entered the kitchen to grab the freshly cooked food.
"Odel, what's wrong? "Why did you drop your spatula?" Emilio asked.
"T-That!" Odel pointed in the air.
"What is it? "Did a bug get in?" Emilio looked around, scanning the area near Odel.
"Ah, no! "It had already fled!" Odel replied.
"Alright then, I'm taking the food."
Odel nodded, still in shock from the sudden kiss. It had been fleeting, yet the sensation on her lips still lingered.
"Odel, are you okay? "Are you tired?" Emilio asked, noticing her unusual behavior.
"A kis—"
"Huh?"
"Did something burn? "I don't think so, haha!" Odel quickly covered up, answering her own question.
"Yeah, nothing's burned." Emilio shrugged and left.
